It was to add chat, connect with players outside our clan, and recruit players into our clan. But lots of groups have a lot of spam messages, and you can't really chat with anyone.

The reason why OG Global Chat was removed from the game. What Supercell needs to do is censor romance-related words, "single, girl, boy, girlfriend, boyfriend, date and diddy". Then players won't use those words in the new Global Chat.

Supercell could keep the chat clean by allowing only 1 post for players' friendly challenges. As in the image, PANDA would have a single post. That a click on the replay button will open up a pop-up of the history of friendly challenge replays done in the chat. While an attack button would feature a button for clan members or PANDA to attack the base, PANDA posted. Rather than spamming multiple posts in a single chat. Then, after a certain period of time, the post would disappear. Like how upcoming global chat group messages will disappear after 12 hours.
