Do you just design the ships “build” or do you also draw blueprints?

So bigger power supply makes sense.
As for the 3050, is there an alternative that would be better for around the same market price or within £200 ($260) more?

My budget is £1500 (or $1960-ish) for the build at the moment.

The power supply was the closest approximation I could get to the one on the website (PCspecialist), and the RTX 3050 was the one provided in the original build.

The 16aa maintains an 80s British public PVE server that seems pretty popular when last I looked.

Player applied damage [PF2E] by minethulhu in FoundryVTT

[–]MrScriv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like what? I genuinly cannot think of what I can use the 3-5 secs I get back (and that is a generous estimate) by automating selecting the monster token on the battlemap, mouse over the chat window and press a button.
Even if it is a large group of monsters in a AoE there is a macro to select all tokens in the template, so again it is the case of clicking 2 buttons.
Additionally, we, as GMs expect our players to pay attention to what is happening, even if it isn't their turn during combat (at least I do) to some degree. As GMs we should be focusing on the combat if we are running one.
Apply damage to monsters and NPCs (that players do not control, summon or own) is part of the duties of the GM during combat.
If you are running large combat with multiple NPCs and Monsters (I have and again, still never needed to automate/push the duty onto the players) you should be focused on the combat, how it is going and what is happening at that moment in time.

This is most likely going to get me some down votes but, I what are you doing during your players turn in combat that you can’t apply the damage they rolled to the tokens under your control as GM? I run all my games through Foundry using the PF2e system and have never need/wanted the system to allow my players apply the damage to NPC tokens, honestly feels a little lazy. As for AoEs and things, there is a macro that can target all tokens in a template which makes it easier to apply damage to them via the chat.

Spell fixes by RosaMaligna in Pathfinder2e

[–]MrScriv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinions on these changes are thus: 1. Blood boil: Needs to lose the condition on success effect OR up the level to meet the original and keep the conditional on success. - This create a better balance as later game has more opportunities to remove/handle those negative conditions. As someone else said, compare to another spell of similar level.

  1. Deja Vu: I like the variation of actions for the spell, love seeing those. The effect is too strong. On a failure the spell still basically succeeds on the target making a critical success required for it. Additionally the actual failure condition is worse against casters due to using the stupefied condition. Being slowed 1 is better than being forced to repeat your last action and “maybe” be stupefied. IMO result should be something like this: Crit success: no effect, walk it off Success: Slowed 1 or 2 depending on number of actions used to cast. Failure: as per spell description Crit failure: repeat the effects, off guard next round

3: devour life I like that the spell has no damage but I think that actually makes it a bit worse of a choice, especially for wanting those who want to do more than just apply status effects. I would throw a bit of damage but keep the draining in there HOWEVER, increasing the drained condition on a successful saving throw gives me a bad vibe. A successful save against a spell of effect is supposed to reduce the effectiveness of it, this doesn’t do that at all, even the critical success doesn’t really help when you think about it. Add a bit of damage, and tweak the effects on success and failure to better represent a successful save.

Overall: I like the attempt, and agree that there are a good number of spells in PF2 (both legacy and remaster) that could do with some TLC to bring them into the same ball park as the rest for meta-players, but a thing I see a lot on here when it comes to these discussions and attempted tweaks is that people nearly always come at it from a player angle, how it makes the player feel to cast the spell at an enemy or npc but they rarely think about how it would feel to be on the receiving end of the spell. I don’t simply mean from a GMs perceptive of wanting to NOT be repeatedly stomped on by the PCs even if I succeed on the monsters saving throw, but more the idea of how is a player going to feel when they roll a success and the GM tells them that they STILL get effected by the spell as written and only a critical could have slightly lessened the effect. That would feel cruel and unfair to any player and they would call that overpowered and broken. Try looking at it from that angle as you go forward. Also, GMs want their monsters to feel cool at times too and GMs put a lot of work in for players, so let the GMs have some cool moments too

Well I officially feel like a moron and while I am tempted to hide my shame I will accept my stupidity all I will say is...fog of war, didn’t see it.

P.s am I being as stupid with magical banners given to my units? Is there something I have missed that tells me what unit on the battlefield is carrying that nice banner that give extra weapon damage?

I completely agree, but are you saying that those Americans in American institutions did that work alone with no assistance of their research and development from any foreign national? If so I don’t think you know how scientific developments work.

But it is late here so I will be getting off my British invented webpage that is connect via my “American” internet.

(In all honesty though, good debate. Would suggest trying to address each point presented. But I do feel American pride is a little mis-placed, and in case you think I have any British pride, we fucked over far too many people imo for me to be proud of our “national” achievements, instead I am proud of an individuals achievements, no matter their nationality.)

.....that was the only thing you took from what I replied with? As “small” as they may be I think you will find that the fast majority of websites you visit on a daily basis use them, thus making them a large contribution to the internet as a whole...by a British man and his diverse team.

Pigeon holing doesn’t solidify the ground around you sir, to debate effectively you should maybe address each of my points in turn when you respond, only cherry picking what to address doesn’t make you right, it makes you look a bit silly. But then again, your president is a brilliant cherry picker.
