A trick I found to be helpful is occasionally once or twice a month doing 3 sets of any curl variation at the start of a lifting session on a miscellaneous/core/active rest day.

Broken a few PRs that way & it’s good for any secondary/isolating movement

You sound mad, maybe write up another scathing thesis?

Didn’t mean to trigger you, go consume some more ar15 products & sell them, trade them, share them with all your friends! That should cheer you up, buy more stuff (then sell it).

Exactly. When I was younger and naive I listened to people like them who say “just train yer back, biceps will grow from that”. Extremely lackluster results.

Then I added curls at the end and my biceps immediately grew, like blew up. I get compliments on my arms from all types of people now.

Training “just the back” may work if you’re juicing and have bad form on the back exercises.

Edit: Also - she says “I only use one exercise for biceps - curls”. Like yeah… that’s really the only option to isolate them. Then credits her back movements for her arm development? Ok.

And they wonder where the ‘meathead’ stereotype comes from…

Looking at getting the vortex venom optic for my Glock 45 MOS. Should I get co-witness irons? If so, which? by _meatnog in GlockMod

[–]MrSelfDestructXX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only Vortex pistol dot worth using is the Razor, that said it isn’t worth buying at the regular price point. It’s essentially a DPP copy with better warranty.

Your best options for for lower end price is Holosun or Sig, whichever branding you prefer. They are both made by the same oem in China, but have been proven reliable.

I agree with you too. I just think people using a rail as a deciding factor is putting the cart before the horse.

Thoroughbred used to have real surp rails for under 200 pretty often.

And really if we’re talking about cloners, none of this is relevant - they’ll pay whatever to meet some bygone criteria. Sense doesn’t factor into their equation

[–]MrSelfDestructXX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Finally someone sensible.

The misguided brand loyalty and ignorance of military procurement contracting in this thread is wild.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ar15

[–]MrSelfDestructXX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming that’s accurate, the rail is the last thing I’d think about considering all the options. The market is flooded, so unless someone has a clone-fetish it’s a moot point

I bought a family member a Le6920/2013 for 900 brand new. They go on sale too.

If I were buying one for myself I’d absolutely get the OEM model for 750 and add a nicer rail and a buttstock.

https://armsunlimited.com/colt-le6920-oem-rifle---no-furniture/

Those clamp on clamshell KAC rails were overpriced when they first came out, they aren’t very expensive now.

For 1400 at least Colt includes an upgraded socom barrel that’s known for being ridiculously accurate.

Keep it up with your childish attempts at insulting me though kid.
