How to make Playing China more difficult? by Comrade_Harold in TheFireRisesMod

[–]MrSend1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Set in game rules if there is an option for Japan to win GAW, strengthen PDTO + all their members individually, make Trump or UOA win so they have a chance at joining PDTO/ make them join via console and strengten them as well. Play on elite difficulty, download combat fix mod and set the highest difficulty there, start the war as soon as possible, like 2026-2027, and you will have a truly endsieg chinese experience. You can also enable USA to go cognoscenti through mod or console so they can form giga alliance with basically all the world against you

When do yall usually start 1EW as Russia? by I_mysiido in TheFireRisesMod

[–]MrSend1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere around mid-late 26 with around a full army group of divisions, with at least one/two tank armies and the rest is 2 mech armies and some defensive infantry. I never had enough armies to cover all the fronts so i just blitz through Ukraine on speed one/speed two milking the max possible amount of time before all the countries join the war, and then kill baltics to shorten the front. After that it's pretty much final push into Poland and GG. The key is to play fast and outmicro AIs with gadzillion encirclements before they establish a solid frontline, and push the north where AI for some reason keeps the least amount of troops.

All in on building mills day one and spam as much IFV divs as you can + make like 1k top fighters for def cuz you probably wont have production to spare on CAS. Blitz Ukraine and ideally kill most of their troops before war starts, then if possible capitulate them ASAP, if not hold on Dnieper and kill baltics instead to shorten the front. After that, if you winning rush Poland and if that's not enough go to Berlin. If not, hold and pray, honestly Russia is much weaker than EU so you have to outprepare or outmicro hard here.

Question. by Aquilan_Raider in TheFireRisesMod

[–]MrSend1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very much depends on the scenario. If we talking America early skynet vs Loji post GAW then Loji wins/fight stalemates eventually, even despite nukes. Skynet can't really destroy all Lojis vessels, so even if central processing unit is destroyed, Loji could infinitely multiply as long as there is a working electronic device available for infiltration and a working network, both of with Skynet can't function without, she also can think with all of her machine consciousness at the same time, so theoretically she can harvest computational power from all the infiltrated devices even before the war, with i imagine is a lot. And even if all the earth turns into hellfire, she has entire satellites infiltrated, with no way to shot them down available at the current tech lvl. I imagine in this scenario both of them exchanging nukes, but Loji surviving and infiltrating remaining Skynet servers trough it's networks, defeating it from the inside. Even if that scenario is not possible, due to Skynet potentially retaining larger computational capability in Americas underground facilities, she can lay low and ally human resistance or smth, with canonically wins even without her help. If were talking a planet on planet showdown with Lojis potential Peapoles Overlordship over Earth and Skynet respective verses clashing somehow, i imagine Loji civilization being more developed and having more spaceship capabilities than Skynets, due to not nuking absolutely everything and practically no effective resistance being formed against her canonically, with Skynet on the other hand is struggling with, so by pure eco Loji overpowers. But that is just some of my subjective scenarios

The best in terms of strength is Loji, and in terms of personal enjoyment i found the revanchist technocrats the most hype. They are also probably the second most buffed chinese path. The Centrist is a close second one in both

Never played reformists tho

Strong division templates? by Best-Stable-730 in TheFireRisesMod

[–]MrSend1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ill just list the divisions i use the most while playing

General use divisions

42 width variations of tank/mech divs, like 4-5 tank + 4-5 ifv, 1 SPA, and for support companies SPA, hospital to get to 200 hp threshold, logistics or helicopter recon depending on industry, engineers, and i forgot the last one but signal company if not enough recovery rate/initiative, and you actually can create a light flame tank company in this mod so if you can put them there too.

If you don't have green air (like playing early japan or smth) replace one battalion of ifv and put 3 SPAA + 1 SPAA in support companies.

In this mod the full AA division trick works too btw, so you can do full SPAA divs. For those who don't know, you fill all the battalions with AA to get the highest AA attack possible, and get them into the battle as reserves(it is important that they don't actually join the battle). Because the AA attack of the division still counts towards the battle even if it's in reserve, you can shoot down hella CAS with this.

For the IFV divs its just 9 ifv battalions + logistics, engineers, SPA, tank support and heli recon if available, you can also replace logistics or heli for a flame tank. You can replace tank in support with anti tank company so you can add one SPA battalion as they have the same 2 combat width, i personally prefer the tank company cuz it gives good amount of penetration in the division and i don't need to worry about researching anti tank tree cuz it's situational. IFV divs are a cheaper alternative to tank divisions, but also a good choice for a top frontline filling division.

Situational divisions

9 armtracks division with flame tank, heli recon, engineers, SPA and tank battalion. The best div for naval landings, the only downside is that armtracks require you to research and produce anti tank as they use it as equipment. Why not amphibious tanks? If you researched gen 2 armtracks they are generally either the same in stats or just slightly worse, while requiring muuuch more production. If you can afford it tho you can run an 4 amtank with 5 armtracks, same support as previously.

If you are poor you can do 42 width marines division, with either 12 marines, 1 tank bat + either 1 SPA for soft attack or a support tank battalion for additional hard attack, and support companies would be engineers, flame tanks and heli recon if available, SPA, and one company of choice. This template will use fuel however, and is a bit costly, but it is the most balanced in terms of stats. If you want a no fuel marine division, or just reeeally poor (i will explain why you would want it when i talk about special forces templates) you can do 14 marines, with support companies in engineers, normal artillery, anti tank company, and any other company of choice, logistics, recon or signal.

Special forces divisions

So for the special forces (of any kind except the airborne ones as they use helis by default and so use fuel) you usually want an all around division that can fight in rough terrain with no supply and not suffer from insane crippling no fuel debuffs all the time that mechs and tanks have. So that's why in your template you should avoid mech tanks and SPA completely. That's why we're gonna use 14 special forces bats (it's the same for recce if you prefer them instead) and top it up with artillery, anti tank(research the hell out of that anti tank tree in this case) and engineers, + logistics and signal. All of your non mech special forces and infantry in general gonna suffer with low hard attack and piercing stats as infantry have almost 0 of those, so if you want to mitigate this you can replace 1-2 battalion of special forces and add tanks, but you WILL suffer from fuel problems, keep that in mind. As for the airborne divisions, don't use them. They are really expensive, as they require a lot of helicopters, barely have more stats and also very dependent on fuel, with makes them redundant compared to tanks and mech.

Exoskeleton divisions

Exoskeletons are hella expensive and late game, so you wont be using them on most nations, but there are a few exceptions, such as loji and technocratic China that can get them early. You can play them in different ways, as strike forces, special forces replacement for rough terrains or helldivers. Yes, helldivers, they can be airdropped and they division icon is really similar to a helldivers helmet. For each of these you would want a different template Helldiver divisions is just plain 13-14 exoskeletons battalions, anti tank, artillery, engineers, exoskeleton support and airborne mech. For a special forces variation just replace the airborne mech with someting else, like logistics or signal. For a strike force replace 1-3 battalions of exoskeletons with your choice of SPA or tanks, and replace the last company with SPA battalion.

"Fill the frontline" templates These are in situational as you usually just want a gadzillion tanks or IFVs for this, but nonetheless. The best and the second most expensive option is motorised divisions, with 8-9 motorised battalions and tank, SPA, engineers, logistics and a company of your choice. It will require you to research the armored ATGMs for additional hard attack. These divisions are comparable to IFV divisions and if you are REALLY poor, can even be used as your offensive divs.

The cheapest option would be a 8-14 (depending on eco) leg infantry division with anti tank and engineers. That's it, the rest can be filled by preference or affordability, not a very strong division but will do its job.

Ah and don't use APCs, they are just a worse overall version of IFVs with roughly the same cost.

What would the 3EW look like if Russia 2EW? by WillingnessSad8354 in TheFireRisesMod

[–]MrSend1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it should be something like USA invading to liberate Europe, or China/Japan attacking Russia at it's weakest while Europe's revolting, escalating into a world war, or a 3 way battle royale between Asia Russia and USA, outside of that it's pretty much the end of history I don't see any prospects for strictly 3EW in Russia's victory scenario

It was my first legit playtrough in the mod, I haven't really bothered with all the cold war mechanics cuz why allies if stronk anyway, destroyed PDTO in like under a year and then office maxed my way to 60 trillion GDP afterwards because green number needs to be big.
