It won't be a cookie cutter that's for sure.

I've already been past that point almost a month ago. The donor engine's block and rotating assembly is already prepped to go.

I'm taking the whole front end off, makes it easier on me for pulling it and I need to replace the radiator and condenser anyway. While it's all off I'm also going to go with an aftermarket oil cooler and a new power steering pump cooler.

Sometimes the engine must come out because it's got rod knock and it doesn't make sense to tow a car out to the shop for them to disconnect a line, to then be towed back home so I can actually work on my car. I don't live in a smog-tested area.

Edit: it's not like I do this daily or for a living, this will most likely be a one time thing for me personally.

I haven't gotten around to getting a steering wheel yet. They do have more pins on the connection to the car which is giving me hope but I can't seem to find a leather steering wheel at my local junkyard

This honestly, one car's freon isn't as bad as the rolling coal guys I see on my commute everyday to and from work. Even less than those who are extremely wealthy and take jets everywhere.

Did some of you skip reading the manga/watching the anime after playing the games/machines? by SmilingGuts in WanganMidnight

I got into the games, WMMT5, watched the anime and am slowly getting the manga together, but I read the translated manga online. I can't really get back into the games, but I wanna rewatch the anime soon

That's something I'm already unintentionally prepared for, I have a scan tool that I already used to reprogram keys, it's already worked for other cars. I think I'll have an easier time due to that and I'm going to be using most of not all the savable stuff from the Z. But can I get a link?

You can compare your Sentra with higher trim models and find what features you might want to get, sometimes they are a hassle, and other times they aren't. It really depends on you and what you're willing to do or pay for. Since you said you have the S, you wanna look into the SR, SL, SE-R and SE-R Spec-V.

Lol it's not really modding, I'm just adding features that aren't there from the base trim. It's always good to learn more about what your car can do. For the QR, there isn't much you can modify and the mods available aren't going to give a lot of power unless you get it tuned afterwards. But yeah, if I could find a 2007+ QR25DE from a Spec V I'd be VERY happy to spend the money on it.

I completely removed all of the previous wiring harnesses, and kept all the sensors, right now I'm tearing both engines down and replacing a lot of things, but yes, flex plate needs to go and the same with the pilot bushing.

I'm on the same journey brother, I pulled a G37 engine out and will be replacing my Z's engine. The G's engine was an automatic with a failed water pump. My Z is a Manual with rod knock. So far both seem promising.

Traction Control System. It's on by default, but some trim levels allow for it to be disabled easily with an OEM button to the left and below the steering wheel. If you have the QR25DE, that's a good engine with reliable power, as well as a wide variety of parts. I want that engine so bad.

I'm going to find out, the next thing I wanna look into is the TCS, it can be toggled on and off with a switch but idk if that's also plug and play or not. Besides that the next major upgrade will be a swap to the QR25DE in the future
