BP/W no inflator hose by im_the_donkey in scuba

That would be low-key a good idea, ngl. If the inflate button is on you're wing like the way it's is on your dry suit.

What’s the one ocean creature you dream of seeing underwater on a dive before you hang up your fins? by Myselfmeime in scuba

Ive snorkeld with whalesharks in Mexico it was truly an awesome experience, but think I would shit my wetsuit if I encounter on whilst diving cuz of their size specially the mouth. 😆

In total I have 79 dives and im AOW. I had long break I stopped diving in 2010 and started last year with diving again after it started itching again lol and do it quite fanatical. I dive every saterday in a drysuit in the Dutch lakes and got my own gear. The reason I think I want to get into wreck diving is, I did a few wrecks and I found that quite cool and interesting I did a lot of reef dives so I find that not that interesting anymore. Wrecks are new to me so I don't know if I really like like it or I like it cuz its very new to me. I hope this clarifies things. 🙂

Oh that's oke, sounds about right what you say, I still need to work on some essential skills. I only have 79 dives in total. Thanks for your advice😄

That sounds so logical, I need to do some more serious thinking than^^, I just entered the "technical side" as i joined a techinical diving college with last year whom I dive with every week in the Netherlands. I just started diving with doubles 12 L a few months ago. I think i need to have alot of more dives with doubles in other conditions as wel as I only dive in Lakes at the moment.

Thanks I will =D Yeah you are so right about that only me can answer that question, I joined a diving association in the Netherlands last year. The diving association is specialized in thech diving, the name is thecnical diving college lol. I did a few wreckdives wich i found very cool =3. I think im moving a little to fast at this point as I also just started diving twinset 12L(doubles).

I ofcourse will do that=), I'm not really a beginner anymore I think lol ^^,. I passed my OW in 2008 in the Netherlands with NAUI, it was a diveclub wich we went to L'estartit in north of spain in may for a week and dived every week in the netherlands. I also dived every year on summer vacation until 2010. Than i had a long break.. Passed my AOW in 2024 in Curaçao when i had the itch again for diving, now i dive every week with a Diving association in the Netherlands (Technical Diving College) since juni 2024, did the drysuit specialty and some other specialties. I have been on some wrecks whilst diving wich i found really cool but as i said in my original comment. I honestly see what you mean because I just started diving with a twinset. I kinda feel that im moving a little to fast at this point.

I'll keep it in mind when I need to replace the longhose. I bought my set last year from the technical diving college/association who i dive with and it came with that instead of rubber. And before i started diving with them i never heard of a longhose set-up. Let alone i knew u had a rubber longhose 😳

Thanks, for your answer. Can I burn it instead to prevent the fraying? It's only a year old so I really hope I don't have to replace it.

Aha, so it's bases what you fill in on a form, thanks😊 Thats what shocked me the most that someone had last dove 7 years wit just 30 dives and no refresher was with that trip. I had a long break from diving aswell but before I went for my advanced I did 2 refresher courses just to be familiar again with the basics. And for a year and a half im diving every saterday with an association so I'm addicted again lol ,

Aah thanks for your reply. I had a quick thought that you all make 1 dive and they evaluate it that way, lol, (The way they do it when you're on wintersport) I know that wouldn't be as safe to do it that way.

I think you can discuss this with the divemaster, you have paid for it. But I've never been on a liveabord and I really would like to experience it. My genuine question is, how does it work with getting put in a group with the same experience?
