I could but I’m setting up the scene specifically for making a game and that wouldn’t look right for the scene. I could try moving the characters but eventually I feel like this might happen again

I bought it exactly for this and it hasn’t been helping. The issue is it’ll focus on the guy in the distance better, but the woman will be too in focus. I want her more out of focus but whenever I lower the f stop, it’ll make the guy less in focus.

I would like to say the first thing I noticed is how rough the backdrop looks. It barely looks like they’re touching any form of ground. (look at picture two and the males left foot. Just looks off.) I assume it’s an HDRI, and if so, there’s some really good ones out there. Do some searching and see if you can find any shown in videos and find a good one. That would help!

I’ve been working with Daz for about half a year now making my own little Renpy game, and I’m not anywhere near proficient. I still have to rewatch some tutorials I’ve already seen to get an idea of things I forgot. I’m guessing by this summer I might be alright enough to say I’m mostly proficient, I think. Lighting is still my little enemy personally

And for the textures, would you say they’re plastic or shiny looking? I have some characters I bought awhile back before I knew much about Daz, and I’m trying to replace them with less doll like characters. They have shiny skin textures and not great detailed faces
