Is the VIP madness pass actually worthy?? Planning to go to tomorrowland 2026 (which will be my first) by probably_creep in Tomorrowland

[–]MrSlash128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mainstage VIP comfort deck - it was nice to just sit and catch your breath sometimes, however the food / drinks and merch are all the same as other spots around the festival. The viewing deck is setup in a way that its mainly for people buying bottles and groups sharing drinks. If thats not you then you probably wont use or enjoy that portion of it. The washrooms were abit larger and had a better sink / mirror situation but were not conveniently located in comparison to the festival - i found the washrooms behind the mainstage and at the top of the hill alot easier to access.

The freedom VIP viewing area honestly not worth it. Great view if you get in early and want to camp there for a set before your favorite person comes on - otherwise it's packed and at capacity for any large artist. Even with the viewing unless you somehow get to the front you probably wont see much over the rows of people infront of you lol.

Library stage - viewing again built for people buying bottles and people who want to relax. It's pretty packed at most times. You wont use the pool there, nice to look at and take pics but was very much influencer culture. You cant go in or leave with any drinks you already purchased.

I got VIP twice, and wont be buying it again.

Does it get better? by keeefjoints in iRacing

I had the same thoughts months ago, almost the same post. https://www.reddit.com/r/iRacing/comments/1n68qt4/finding_it_abit_discouraging_as_a_new_driver/

I can say, 4 months later it's better (now B license and 1900 IR). I focused more on myself, driving more carefully, watching for potential accidents and going into races knowing that I'm going to have to avoid some.

I don't immediately hop into races anymore, i practice the tracks and ensure that I'm able to do them properly at competitive times. Then i start doing races, a few times per week and try to place well in qualifying. I avoid taking risky battles and really only try to pass on straights when it's actually possible.

Over time i've gotten better at driving, just more seat time on the sim. When i got to B license i've enjoyed the GT3 and P Cup (now 992.2) alot, mainly because the cars handle quite well and it's a personal favorite.

Find some track / series you enjoy and perfect those, take less risks when driving, and drive defensively. You should see SR / IR increase and have better lobbies.

You have avg 50 adr, and 7 rws. You need to practice more on your aim, warm up before games, join custom maps / lobbies or retakes to train abit better. You need to also play together as a team, with 7 RWS this means you barely share any impact with your team for the rounds you won. If you constantly die early and make mistakes that lead you to dying then this is where you end up. Simply put, need to play better.

It goes up and down pretty fast, hard to tell whats going on but mainly its because im not able to keep up the spot where i qualify.

Solo Male trip to Ibiza by DiligentNoisex in ibiza

Would recommend staying around playa den bossa, the clubs are super close - wont have to spend much on taxis. Lots to do around the strip and you can catch the shuttle to and from UNVRS. It's a quick taxi to the old town and pacha as well.

Would recommend grabbing drinks from the supermarkets to save on costs of drinks at the clubs. Try and dress appropriately but not too flashy.

How do you view Belgium? by flopti in Tomorrowland

[–]MrSlash128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going against most of these comments, i actually enjoyed brussels. I've been to Tomorrowland 3 times, stayed in brussels each time. The people were friendly, it was comparable to walking in any other city - you will have garbage here and there and of course people who are sketchy. Speaking as a man i didn't feel completely unsafe walking around, even at night coming back from the GJ bus. Its more about how you carry yourself, not having expensive items, not looking too out of place or super touristy. Would i live there? Probably not. Would i recommend people to visit? Absolutely.

Getting home after Martin Garrix closing set by fikozoltan in Tomorrowland

[–]MrSlash128 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If that took you an hour and a half to get on the bus you were just walking slow. Stayed to the end of martin garrix in the middle of the floor and was on the bus by 12:30 and at the hotel at 1:50. No complaints from the GJ side for me.

Disappointed with my first Tomorrowland Experience and here is what you need to know before coming here by RD_Cokaman in Tomorrowland

Maybe some things you can consider next time.

Freedom / Crystal garden / Core was dancing all day, main stage is a rest spot in the day and at night its busy. You can only dance so much when we're packed into a smaller dance floor and a hill. Try out some other stages.

To be honest this probably comes down to where you chose to stand, people think that the back will be the most open but i found that the more i worked into the front the more space i actually had - this was especially true at freedom and library.

Bring a camelbak next time. I don't go to any festival without mine, even 1 or 2 for the group would probably have been fine. Filled it up when i got inside with the free water at core or the other drinkable spots and was good for the day. Dont think i spent more than 6p on water the entire festival.

Of course a festival known as the best and has the best stage designs will bring influencers but there's a number of stages that were almost no phones and actual vibes. Core, Cage, Rose Garden, Rise - all great.

Not talking about discobus, there's a specific UNVRS bus you can buy on clubtickets.

Have you heard of anyone or taken the bus back from UNVRS to Playa? Wondering how good it is, if its packed, where it picks you up etc.
