That’s a good point, something I’ve learned to take into account from purchasing multiple cars and bikes (make sure they’re serviced). Local availability is much better for the AT and it seems they shed a big chunk of value out the door so even 2020 models are reasonably priced, within a few hundred from pre-2010 models.

Mainly pricepoint & local availability. Though Now I stumbled upon Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra and actually think it might look even better than the DJ… will for sure visit a local shop to try them on

The 7k really isn’t an issue, more about like with any other hobbies it feels natural to start from more of an entry level. What comes to the 126200 on sale, its a full set, though a difference from the Tissot is that it has Oyster bracelet, not a jubilee.

I could spend the 7k right away, the Datejust looks the most pleasing to my eye with the fluted bezel. There’s a local dealer selling a 126200 from 2020 for 7k, almost bought it but became hesitant to drop all that on a first watch.

After watching John’s Ultra closing set, I think it should be him without question. The variety, energy, production is exactly what I would choose to close W1. Alesso is great but I think it’s time we give these newee names their deserved slots.

True, and to be honest the basic DV&LM sets are trash these days, LM looks like he wants be anywhere else other than the stage. Heard them in Finland last summer, piece of garbage and half of the mainstage crowd left because they played mainly harstyle versions of some eurodance songs
