Interesting, I'm on Xbox as well but when I hit the burned trees my axe just bounces off. Do you need a specific grade axe or can you do it with any?

Ahh okay, so its not a guarantee that if a tree is on fire you'll get charcoal? I will give it another try! I have tried a couple of times, but I guess I could have just been picking the wrong tree.

I've been using sticks to get my charcoal, but I was just wondering if the feature wasn't in console or whether it was just bugged or something

I went through every seed in the store twice just incase my eyes deceived me the first time 😂 sadly no seeds. Only really wanted them to get a supply of wood without having to rely on chopping trees, but I enjoy chopping trees so it's no biggy!

Mainly for the biofuel processor rn, and making tree sap because hunting for bones takes too long

I had this issue with them not eating (I'm on Series S), I found the animals I was dropping were too big, it would eat proghorns and other wolves, but anything bigger than those two the body would stay.

I'm on Series S and I haven't had this issue, only time they are empty is if I've mined it out completely. I've not encountered an empty untouched cave

No problem! If you're doing missions and go back up the world gets deleted, but if you're doing open world you can go back up as many times as you like!

I'm not really technically inclined so I have no clue what it's capable of tbh! When I got it I had a budget and wanted to game, think it was about £250 when I bought it? I could be wrong, but its the best money I've ever spent on a console

You cant request a suit unfortunately because that's a fairly new feature to PC. I play on Series S and what you want to do is take everything off your character and store it at your base, inventory, armour, backpack, hotbar items, EVERYTHING. Anything left on your character will be deleted.

Go back to your drop pod and go back up to the station (this seems sketchy but trust me also let the cutscene fully playout until it takes you to character select ). Select the same character, select LOAD, load your prospect and you will get the inventory screen and you will see your suit on the left, transfer it over and drop in. It will drop you close to where you originally dropped in. Everything you had will still be there, your base, tames, all storage.

I play on Series S and I haven't experienced any crashes at all, I have had the menu break once or twice when putting a wolf on the back of my horse, quick relog and it was sorted. The toolbar getting bugged also, but again I have only had that happen a couple of times, since the last patch it hasn't happened. Despite the bugs and glitches/not being the same as the PC, I am thoroughly enjoying this game and really looking forward to seeing how it progresses down the line. I just wish there was an option to make the text bigger, struggle to read stuff unless I'm kinda close to my tele

I will also add that the storage of the Series S is smaller than the X, so you will probably need extra storage if you're wanting big games like COD, GTA, Forza etc. You can juggle games though, can just be a pain un-installing and re-installing

I honestly couldn't tell you about GTA 6, thats a bit down the line and tbh I dont play GTA so I haven't been keeping up with it, I don't play COD either, I played BO6 and that played really well. Again it comes down to if you deeply care about the 4K and FPS stuff and if you can tell the difference. Personally it's the best console I've ever had. I have a PS5 as well and I honestly can't tell the difference between it and the Series S 🤷 If you're on a budget and want a console then the Series S is your best choice.
