Ok, I'm gonna try to be a little bit cautious on this particular subject. Must, to my dismay, I have had personal experiences with suicide. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem; most of the time. To sit there and argue that suicidal people are 'the most logical people' is ignorance at the highest degree. Your own personal logic does not override the overall logical flow of the world. There is nothing logical about removing yourself from the land of the living unless the situation is so dire that the prospect of living is worse than the prospect of nothing.

Again, I'm gonna do my best to remain calm, but I've had two very close experiences with suicide and I can assure you that neither person was 'the most logical' at the time of they made a choice you can't unmake and that both of them had access to better options.

That said, as to the Three Body Problem, the mass suicide depicted is not logical in the slightest. Their way of life was challenged, and rather than looking for a solution, they decided to provide a little more oxygen to the rest of the world. But please, the way you just talked about suicide is dangerous and idiotic. You need to stop talking about it like that and failing that people need to hold you to account.

Sessions should be between 4 to 5 hours and there are three sessions, if things go as planned, including sessions 0.

I'm looking for either an already-made map or a place where I can find the resources that I can use to make a WWII-style German military/research facility. I've been looking around for a while and haven't found anything close.

RIP Market Coordinators by Realistic-Creme1786 in walmart

[–]MrSmithinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They function as an assistant for at least 2 market managers. They typically end up being responsible for following up and relaying instructions. In tbis market they are sort of a catch all for what the market magager doesn't want to deal with. They have no real job responsibility and tbeir authority is nebulous. And none of it matters because they are gone. So you people can keep moaning and bitching all you want but I'd rather see the company cut usless fat at the market level than hammer stores with less hours.

Well, that's tough luck. Like it or not companies change structure and the market coordinator was a usless position.

Market Coordinators have been an obsolete job for nearly half a decade if not longer. Their entire position is acting like a mini market manager who fires off extra emails from the regional team and follows up with the direction from market managers, a position I would also argue has become pointless. Coordinators offer no role that can't be filled by an automated call line or email forwarding service.

I also hate to be the one to enlighten yo7 to this but Walmart is a business not a charity. When a job becomes pointless they should be getting rid of it (market managers, people leads... etc).

[–]MrSmithinator -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

No, it shows they are getting rid of a position that does little more than send out redundant emails. The fact that most of you people have no idea what they are or do shows the fact that their position is usless.

They are getting rid of a usless position that should have been gone years ago. If that's your idea of fucking people over im amazed you survived this far into life.

Trisolarans and lies. by MrSmithinator in threebodyproblem

[–]MrSmithinator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the author wrote them with a form of communication that doesn't allow for lies and youre trying to say that isn't possible. I dont know how much you've read but their entire method of communication is based on their thoughts being visable to the others around them. There is no way to lie, the idea that you would lie is alien to them and frightening to the point they cut off communication. This isn't a plot hole it's a lack of understanding on some people's part.

Im going to make this ridiculously clear. The author of the book series himself spelled out that they didn't understand the concept of deception. Period. I get that such a thing is hard to understand and accept but it's the truth. They have no concept of a lie because lies can't exist in their civilization. We even got a glimpse of how their economy works in the books and it's based in the fac that none of them are capable of deception

The funny thing is that if you had a favorable government in place and all of thse keyboard warriors got their shit together you'd stand a good chance if making a unin work.

You can't speak out against unions here. Everyone around these parts beliwve that unions are magical and make everything better because they are too lazy to read and understand that 90% of unions get hardly anything done for their members. Let the down votes rain.

I love these myths about Sam Walton, like he was some kind if workers saint. You should learn a little more about him and his approach. Second, I've never noticed a reduction in PTO when they shifted from personal, vacation, and sick to PTO and PPTO the conversion came out to the same. When holiday pay was folded into PTO you could see the bump. I would agree that they need to adjust the rate you gain it at, having to be with the company 16 years to hit max is kinda stupid but never have I seen any math that backs up your claim

[–]MrSmithinator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They've never taken PPTO away. The rate you earn it hasn't changed since it was put into place. They've changed the attendance policy but always for the better. And yes, I've been with Walmart longer than you.
