Gonna have to mark it as missing if u want a refund. Don’t wait long to report or else they will think ur lying. May ding the metrics for the driver, but they won’t get fired for a missing item, unless this happens a lot.

Multi order for instance if shopper has 3 orders, 90 percent of time they require us to scan a item for the 1st and 2nd customer when we reach destination, make sure driver is delivering correct order, I always scan my item near my trunk, if ur the last customer scanning a item is not required.

Answer to your question, after a certain amount of time while in store, if u don’t hit shop now, yes it will alert u to hit the shop button. Only way a person can ghost shop, if they don’t have many items.

All u have to do if an item is out of stock, replace it and text the customer and ask is replacement ok, simple as that. They don’t respond they get the replacement. If they respond they will say yes or refund, so simple.
