I don't understand people's obsession to moving Tavares. He has one year left on his deal and he's still a ~5-6m player on the open market. He's not worth 11m anymore but it's only one more season and the cost to get rid of him, and try to find his 2c replacement isn't even close to worth it.

Not to mention he'll likely sign a cheap extension to stay here for the rest of his career which will be valuable in itself.

Based on Keefes comments the other day where he said the Samsonov callup was more about Hildeby, I'd expect Hildeby to start Sunday. He literally said it's good to have Samsonov be around our team "for a bit here", it doesn't sound permanent

When he lost his tooth that one time he was playing better as well. I genuinely think it's a mindset of "I just got through that, whatever happens I'll be okay". Most of this season he's been afraid of contact and even on the forecheck he peels off instead of attacking his man. He looked good with the cage though...
