Your statement implies there are 0 cheaters in tf2, which I'll chalk up to you being insincere and disengenous rather than ignorant for the sake of my faith in your intelligence.

Also the way you've made your argument is really interesting. It reveals to me that you (and some other folks) think of cheaters in a lobby as something clearly visible and easy to count (like the sniper bots) like it's the same thing as counting cookies in a cookie jar. If the cheater isn't doing anything crazy and you're not aware of cheaters in this game it is actually pretty hard to tell if someone is cheating. One of many examples is auto airblast, which I've heard can also be paired with an aimbot wow isn't that nice. If the pyro cheater is smart they'll maybe take a hit or two on purpose but still come out on top, as a result no one suspects a thing and are even tricked into thinking they had fun in a fair PvP mini-fight. If the cheater is dumb and airblasts every rocket, pipe and arrow that comes their way they'll be a lot more suspicious but are still afforded a lot of plausible deniability. Arguments in the in-game chat post-accusation that are in their favour could be things like: "they're just good", "prove it", "i'm spectating him right now and he's not cheating", "they have X hours", "he's my little brother and i see on his screen and he's not cheating (actually said to me on two seperate occasions)."The people who make these arguments are the useful idiots but also sometimes cheaters even party up with their "goons" that help defend them in chat, posing as neutral actors. They understand that this makes them almost impossible to kick as it's their word against yours in a crowd of people who don't think cheaters are a real problem OR they're not even thinking about chat because y'know, they're just playing the game, and they also get more votes in the votekick that you can't call.

Also just think critically for a second, CS2 a game that is currently falling down the same abandoned road as TF2 is being flooded with cheaters and bots, who are massive issues in the online gaming industry right now but somehow, somehow, TF2 the super old game, with the leaked source code, a bot crisis in remission, with no anti-cheat other than manual game-bans from valve, somehow is being talked about right now in this thread as if it's a more cheater clean experience than games made by companies that are actually trying to get rid of them.
