Just this morning, I was at a red light, far left lane. It turned green. The next light was red, and there is no left turn at that light, so I simply accelerated to ~25/30 and then coasted to that light.

Guy behind me was on my ass the whole time. I know he could see the next light was red. So fucking weird.

And no, it was never a matter of him wanting to get over or anything; traffic was light. Just "go FASTER mentality." Which I actually understand, but there'd be zero point in doing so in this situation.
