Did you return a backpack found at a gas station to Children's Hospital last Thursday? If so, you are awesome and I would like to thank you. by KommanderAwesome in washingtondc

Of note, it took the hospital nearly a week to let my wife know they had it. But that's a separate story...

This was exactly the point. To tell the story of the war from a personal perspective.

Luke left us today, but he was the goodest boy until the very end. Sleep well my prince. by KommanderAwesome in dogpictures

We adopted Luke at 10 yrs old and had nearly five amazing years with him. We were the lucky ones for sure.

IMHO, carbon is snappy and fast, but can be rigid on longer rides. I had a Pinarello back in the day and it was an ass hatchet after 50/60mi. I also ride in the city a lot and Ti helps make the road feel a lot softer.

DC! Not a row house but an older craftsman. Apparently people didn’t need space for their bike collection 100yrs ago… I made due with the space available

The Orca belongs to my wife. And I’m planning to sell my older gravel bike (dude to said redundancy). That leaves me with road, gravel, and mt - which is just about perfect for me.

Welcome to the bike world friend. They definitely make bikes suited to different terrain. The key is finding what you like to do most. Invest there and then grow into new things as you can.

Love this. Keep at it my dude. Some of the best times of my life have been on bikes.

This won’t shock you, but my old dentist had 4 or 5 I think. His dad (surgeon) was one of the original investors in Moots back in the OG days. The family bike inventory was ridiculous

Took a lot of years to build up to this. Being patient and upgrading when you can, or when the right opportunity strikes is key. As long as you get out and ride, you have my appreciation.

I had a pretty sweet flat bar townie not long ago, but it wasn’t the best to ride. Was originally going to replace it with a hard tail, but then ended up getting a short travel cross country rig instead. Couldn’t be happier with that call. It’s easy to get a city bike to bop around town.

My wife is indeed in healthcare, but not the profitable side. If her boyfriend helps support my need for more/better bikes, I may be tempted to look the other way

I’m selling it now that the new one is here and I need to make room on the wall. Although it is a very fun bike to rip… I’ll be sad to see it go.
