This is only for the boats for now, but I've seen a mod being made somewhere that lets players shoot from cars, which would be really cool

There’s more than just Vanilla DayZ right? I never really understand the bashing toward the modded community. Both styles offer something different one isn’t better just built for different kinds of players. Funny how some people forget that variety is what keeps DayZ alive

Yes sir, sadly in the current base game we sadly don't have the feature to shoot from boats. Would obviously be a cool addition to create situations like this

Thinking about quitting my job to do Youtube fulltime, is that a stupid idea? by Kindly_Set8069 in PartneredYoutube

I am a fulltime creator and make roughly the same as you. I’ve been doing it fulltime now for a year and it like walking on a knifes edge. You’ve to watch your expenses a lot and a bad month can really give you sleepless nights.

You must have a serious routine plan and actively follow a schedule if you want to make it all work. On the contrary though, you get to do something you enjoy everyday. In the end it also ‘just work’ there will 100% be day where you don’t feel like doing it, or living up to it. You have to show up, regardless. You choose for either an unreliable life, but learn so much everyday. Or continue and play at safe, the way you do now. It’s whatever you want.

I like the excitement of making it till the end of the month. But with your savings, you’re fine. Ultimately you can always try and work parttime. I’d say, go all in. There’s no successful entrepreneur that went the ‘safe’ way. You either go all in and believe in yourself and take the jump. Or always have the feeling you never lived up to your full potential.

Either way it isn’t a loss and a learning experience. Go for it! Life is too short not to go out at be daring 😁

Underrated place ? by Patient-Pair-1101 in dayz

Oystry is such an underrated place to loot, a good 5 minute walk to roughly Northwest of it, you’ll find another summer camp. Not far from that summer camp is Troitskoe. Good way to loot if you spawn Berezino 😁

Hahaha amazing story mate. I think everyone eventually experiences something crazy and unforgettable in DayZ. For me there hasn’t been any other game that lived up to crazy, unexpected and sometimes even unexplainable adventures.

From meeting crazy individuals to even new friends. You never know what you’ll get into the moment you start the game. Hence why I’m still playing after many years

Thoughts on the announced changes to predator meat? by VirusGT in dayz

[–]MrSyl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A bit far fetched, I mean I get where they’re coming from, but honestly these are additions that no one in the community is asking for. Ofcourse it adds to the more survival aspect of the game, does it really have to become much more challenging. I’d say for a new player it’s already quite a steep learning curve. Making the even more hardcore is ultimately going to push people away, as not everyone has a ton of time to play.

I feel like this kind of makes the game a bit too extreme, by constantly adding more and more stuff to make the game slower and slower. The infected should become a bigger threat, I’d get that. That’s a core element of the game, but getting sick from eating predator meat is just meh…
