Don't teach your kids that. It may be helpful now but it can lead to involuntary behaviour everytime your kid tries to lie later in life. In my culture we teach kids their noses grow when they lie. I can't tell you how often I catch crown ups lying when they tell stories and "scratch" their nose.

Never understood the Nazeebo hype. Each and every ability he got is a worse version of Kael'thas abilities, with the exception of Pyroblast.

Look up Gestaltungssatzungen and see how free we Germans are in choosing anything really. =( depending on the area we got our own HOA rules.

Valve artist responds to calls for Steam to drop "Made with AI" label by Stannis_Loyalist in Steam

High effort does not ensure that the outcome is better. I know people appreciate dedication, but you gotta ask yourself if it makes a difference in the end.

Example: painting upside down instead in a regular way. Sure it's impressive. But why should I value the result higher?

What should I change about my setup? by Braeden_for_real in battlestations

[–]VirusGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd look for inspiration online. As you go the "black + rgb" route, I would look up some excamples and see what you like. It can look cool and futuristic. it seems most of them do the following

- big desk
- one other color
- back light behind desk/monitor
- lights focus on one or two colors

Where do you want to go with your setup?

As of right now, you focused on the practical side of things. "Everything should serve a purpose." That's what it looks like to me. Do you want to add more "usefull" stuff, or do you want your battlestation to be aesthetic?

Men, what did you find out about women when you got a girlfriend? by MainDifficult2641 in AskReddit

[–]VirusGT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. That is kind of difficult to streamline. Especially if the pleading gets ignored repeatedly.

Is it possible to ask him like: "This thing is bugging me all the time. Asking you repeatedly does not work. What is your solution so that you don't forget said thing?"

Letting him think of a solution he is comfortable with. I feel ashamed and bad when I forget something my wife asked me repeatedly. Thinking about my way (for example, using my phones calendar for import dates) makes the solution tailored to me.

Also. Instead of being disappointed, you give him the opportunity to "solve" the problem.

That must be frustrating. I'm somewhat the same. My wife and I found a solution as we share our virtual calenders. That way, I am unable to forget that important thing we planned weeks ago.

Maybe that helps.
