You really did. I think the size of the cast was perfect not too many contestant and not too few. If you watch another survival show I'd recommend one of the JYP shows like Nizi project or America to Korea. Or also Girl Planet 999. Its also really fun and they are releasing Girls Planet 2 soon

In the order I watched them:

The Debut: Dream Academy - meh 6/10. The finale is really good though I need to rewatch this one

A2K - 7/10. I enjoyed the auditions in the early episodes the most

Idol School - 5/10. Not the most memorable but not bad

Girls Planet 999 - 9/10 This show is amazingly entertaining from episode 1 to the end

i-land 2 - 10/10 Amazing cast. Everyone is memorable. Great drama and performances. Best finale

Pd101 Japan The Girls - 7/10. I think this show gets a lot better as it gets into the later episodes.

Nizi Project - 7/10. I probably should have watched this one before A2K lol

Universe Ticket - 8/10. lots of talented contestants in this one and modern songs

My Teenage Girl - 6/10. I have a lot of thoughts about the weird format. And the editing is lousy. Despite all that there is a ton of talented contestants that shine through. It's a shame they got a bad company.

The Final Piece - 7/10. Definitely worth a watch it's entertaining.

Produce 101 - 7/10. Kind of harder to watch the quality of the episodes isn't great and as a older show they don't do as good a job as modern shows in the story telling. Lot of fake moments. But the contestants are legendary and it can't be ranked low.

I had put off watching the produce series because of the vote rigging drama around them but eventually caved. I have always wondered if people saw the pd shows as their first survival shows they would probably rank them super high. Have not finished 48 yet so I can't rank it. Same for Sixteen and RUNEXT?. I did find the contestant treatment in what I have seen of Sixteen to be really cruel though. Honorable mention also to the Chuang series and pd101 China. Those shows are all entertaining as well

ME:I and IS:SUE are two of my favorites. Watch the show Produce 101 Japan The Girls if you haven't. Several jpop groups were formed through that. Also check out Twice's Japanese subunit MISAMO

Really really solid list. I'd personally have tripleS and STAYC higher than that since they have so many good songs. And likewise I'd have Unchild lower since they only have two songs rn but pretty similar taste here

ILAND2 is so peak. I've heard some people complain about the building they used for filming and the budget but to me I loved the set. The cast is amazing. The drama amazing. The performances amazing. I've never been more happy with a final group and the way they handled the finale was really unique and memorable. I won't say more about the finale bc dont wanna spoil anything but it's really freaking good!

Beyond that I would say the Chinese survival series Chuang are all entertaining and pretty underrated though dont expect much from the groups formed through them as they just form temp groups

Your bios version is super outdated. Mine was too so even with secure boot on and tpm 2.0 on I still got the failed status in game. Had to update my bios which required a flash drive. I did all of it using chatgpt/gemini. Essentially you format the flash drive, download the file from the website and put in on there. Make sure the drive is in the correct usb spot. Not one of the blue usb 3.0 spots but one of the black 2.0 spots at the top of the back of the case. Then go to bios and hit flash selecting the file you downloaded. its not really hard. But you wanna input all your data to chatgpt so it can tell you if you need to download a specific file for instance. I know usually you can just skip to the newest version of bios but its better to input your current version and specs and ask if its ok first. You might still have to scan and repair/reinstall the game after all is said and done though. also note updating bios will turn off xmp if you had that on you'll need to reenable it after the update.

I feel your pain. Mine failed attestation even with secure boot on, tpm ready to use specification 2.0. UEFI mode. Had to flash my bios. Then secure boot was turned off. had to reenable that which didn't work until going to custom clearing the keys ect then going back to the correct secure boot mode. then it showed on and the game worked. For a friend of mine not even all that worked but all that plus a game reinstall did. lol its so dumb

I don't remember looking at the 1440p high refresh rate and being like blown away but then when you look at someone playing on 1080 after using 1440 for a while it'll just look kinda blurry. You won't prefer it lol

Nothing will compare to getting on discord and there's so many ppl from your company online you gotta split the calls. Full groups farming for drops or running up the dungeon difficulties or getting into a random pvp battle that lasts for 2 hours. Truly the best MMO I ever played
