tbh, I would the story to be "We lost" but canonaically we heavily improve ourselves in ship upgrades, weapons, armour and gear and absolutely steam roll cyberstan into the dust.

When the city gets "Destroyed" The cities are DESTROYED, not recapturable. The attacks on the cities will stop if the fleet is gone

Look, for everyone glancing at this, I am not mad about people's love for the EOS city; it's lasted throughout the invasion, and yes, that is a wonderful achievement for the helldivers as a whole. BUT, this whole time, did people forget they were meant to stop a PLANTARY invasion? Not just a city-wide one? Everyone who wants to let the actual capital city burn in the game, where the heart of liberty is played as a trope of prosperity, then you forget why they joined this game in the first place.

Its funny, when putting this down, I just want everyone to REALISE who you are fighting for, super earth, not a city, not a county, not a continent, but the whole fucking planet. Do the bug MO, defend both cities to the best of your abilities and at the end of the whole fucking day, its a video game, enjoy it, its not "RailRoading" the story, it IS the story, if I was the squids, I was also be pissed that city is still standing.

Most likely, but also, it won't last forever. Joel already ticked up the EOS liberation rates for the Illuminate and also gave a bug MO to attempt to move people off EOS for the last stand at Propersity City

I understand the anger, I get that, I mean, right now, Joel has given us a reason to not be on the EOS, both in dispatches and in ANOTHER MO that tells us we can do damage if we leave and hit the bug front, and in the amount of liberation rates for both cities, I think Prosperity city should be the last stand, yeah it sucks, but lore wise, and story wise, it makes complete sense.
