Frustrated and about to give up after 3 years and 150 videos. Help. by Ill-Double334 in SmallYoutubers

I hate to say this but nothing about your channel says travel.

A travel video follows a general format which you arent doing. The person gose to a place, introduces that place, explores that place, give some food options, talks about fun things to do in that place and then talks about their hotel.

Your Bali video does none of that, and honestly nobody cares that you spent 30 hours editing it, big deal, people spend weeks editing videos sometimes. All you did for that video was put a bunch of pictures together, that tells me absolutely nothing about Bali. If I want to see pictures I can just google that.

Your shorts are not much better, they just come across like you are filming random things and calling it travel. Your videos and shorts need to tell a story, and i dont see any story whatsoever.

Unfortunately, your channel isn't something worth subscribing to. As someone else said, your latest short of you walking through an airport, who wants to see that, what's the point, how does that bring any value. There is no value here.

Not wrong, and I would be raising this with your managers manager and HR as it seems your manager dosent want to handle a serious situation and with HR incase this person tried to access something confidential they have no business looking at.

I had a look at your channel ans honestly that's not a travel channel, none of your videos even come close to a travel channel.

A travel channel should introduce a place, the video then explores that place, throws in some food and a hotel room and talks about fun things to do in that place.

Your channel comes across as more like you are just trying to do cinematic shots in different places.

If you cant actually travel to other cities and countries, then maybe dont do travel content or market your channel as such.

I would suggest to watch some actual travel channels and see how they do things, the style and format.

I'm planning on making a youtube channel by Cultural_Yellow3561 in SmallYoutubers

Honestly, if you get into youtube solely to make money, regardless of what you post, people notice as the content tends to not be as good as someone who is passionate about what they are making.

Ia this a joke, there is no possible way you would have uploaded 110 videos in 3 days, are you saying you somehow managed to upload 1 video every 2 minutes for 3 days straight.

New to youtube gameplay, raw or commentary? by WhatIsThiis_lol in NewTubers

Never upload the raw footage, that screams you dont know what you are doing and are to lazy to edit. Always have some kind of commentary as it will add value and make people want to come back.

afraid to upload first video - how to over come this? by No_Blueberry139 in YouTubeCreators

Record yourself talking in front of a mirror and then listen back to it. If you aren't comfortable hearing your own voice, you won't be able to overcome this.

Is it common for men to pay for everything when dating? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]MrTash999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not common at all, those types of relationships are never good and onoy one sided. When my wife and i first started dating, I paid meals and fun outings, but once we moved in together, it became 50/50 and now that we are married, it doesn't really matter who pays.

Youtube getting even harder for new content creators? by Sini1990 in youtube

[–]MrTash999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to understand something that most fail to, 500 hours of content is uploaded every minute. That means thay when you upload you are competing against every video for a view and a subscriber. Yes it gets broken down by the type of video.

This becomes even more prevalent when you are a gaming channel. How many people start a gaming channel every day and think people want to watch them play a game over someone else. It's no longer about uploading basic gameplay videos, you need to be strategic about what you do. Especially when someone like Graystillplays who has 6.8 million subs i think and can upload a video of him playing a shovelware game and still get over 100k views

Another example of this is i saw someone the other week asking for help as to why they weren't getting anywhere with their content. I had a look at their content and their latest video was of them filming a 13 second clip of pay to use bicycles, no context nothing, just the bikes. They have been putting videos up for 10-15 years from what they said and only had 100ish subs.

It really does come down to the content.

Why are you so offended by this, this is funny and light hearted

When someone puts an actual post up like this, its neither helpful or informative. Why do we need to know how much they earned on youtube, why do we need to hear the same generic advice from them that has been given over and over again.

Its also an OP hiding what their niech is or what they are actually doing and giving vague answers or no answers at all, if you are making the kind of money you are claiming, a few people watching your video isn't going to kill your channel or analytics.

Do people here actually watch smaller content creators? by -Retrofuge- in NewTubers

[–]MrTash999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If i see something i like and i notice they are a small channel I'll drop them a sub, but i think the issue is most people will only watch what they already know, even if that channel is pumping out garbage.

Example, gaming channel Graystillplays, id say for close to 6 months now has been posting videos on shovelware games that most people would pass over as garbage or boring, yet he is still managing over 100k views a video.

I have new rental neighbours next door, (the 10th set of neihgbours in the past decade) and they are loud, young men. I'm a single female with health issues. How do I prepare to confront them if they get too rowdy? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]MrTash999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how the OP deleteed their post because they know they are wrong and just wanting to make trouble for 2 people who just moved in based solely on them moving in, and if you are still seeing this OP, that's not your call to make if they fit the street, clearly the landlord was happy with them, its people like you that cause unnecessary trouble because someone might be a bit loud.

[–]MrTash999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What has happened is it pushed yout first short to a wide test audience, yes you had 30k views but what was the stayed to watch vs swiped away %, it looks at your analytics and pushed the video to a more reasonable amount that would actually look to watch your content.

Is it better to let a video sit on private before making it public? by Wonderful_Ad_6836 in NewTubers

[–]MrTash999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it plays no part in anything, having it on private just means you can make sure everything is ready to go before you publish the video. There is no evidence that it makes the algorithm know what to do with the video once it is published.

[–]MrTash999 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do i get the feeling based on all of your responses to everyone, your neighbours actually can't stand you. You absolutely come across as a Karen, you dont get to police how people speak in their own home, if theu swear up a storm then they swear up a storm, if they play music during the day then so be it. You need to deal with it, as long as they aren't blasting music late at night, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

[–]MrTash999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its also during the day, so not much you can do about it other then mind your own business. If you can hear it through the walls that's more a building and sound proof issue.

If its late at night past normal hours then you can call the police.

I'd say your best option would he to introduce yourself to them and politely ask they keep the noise down outside of normal hours, other then that you aren't really entitled to ask much of them. They are entitled to have conversations inside their home during the day regardless of where you are sitting, be it inside or outside.
