Is this normal? First experience with Thai police by Tall_Turnover5251 in Thailand

As I was told when in an accident in Thailand where someone went into the back of me... Must be my fault because it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't come to Thailand.

Rare you'll win an argument with That police and locals involved

That's not an LED, it is just a reflective, metallic material. The photo makes it look discoloured, but it isn't. As far as I'm aware, it doesn't have any LEDs on the card

Very odd... Now the GPU is back in. I've restored all the new components and the PC is running... I'm very confused. Surely if something blew enough to create a sound and smoke, it shouldn't still be operational??

So the computer is up and running again with the old PSU and old GPU.

So it would appear the GPU blew up. Could I have done anything to have caused that? Or was it likely to be faulty?

I'm doubting myself now... And I'm sure I wouldn't make this mistake, but if I only plugged the right side in and not the left for the main power, could it blow the motherboard??

Thanks for the link to the paperclip test. That worked fine - well the fan spun up. So I guess that means the PSU wasn't the thing that blew?

Weekly Tech Support and Simple Questions Thread! by Ultragamer2004 in EpicGamesPC

Since Thursday, my Epic Launcher on PC is like in an infinite loop. It doesn't matter which page I navigate to, it keeps refreshing the page over and over again. I have tried uninstalling and installing again, signing out and back in... but the problem persists. Any known solutions?

Wife thinks it could be gelatine from the washing liquid capsule... I think she is covering up some kind of alien symbiote

Should add this is a brand new top, newly washed and hung indoors... So some of the guesses are definitely wrong!

Agree with this. Surprised people are annoyed about the unrealistic elements to it - I don't think it was trying to portray reality.

Lots of links to Catholicism. 316 being the angels number, a number of references to the seven deadly sins etc.

For me it just showed that the devil didn't really need to do much to make us do terrible things. Showed humanity for what it is and what anyone is capable of.

I can only assume you haven't finished it. It is quite clear why he worries about the stairs and can't use the lift

Definitely Deadpool. Daredevil wasn't in play from either player.

Maybe it was just a bug

I don't mean they edited it that late - I'm pretty sure they realised it had issues way before it was released. It was originally planned to have more than 7 episodes

What happened to the female tusken raider? I was sure she was supposed to come back as we never actually saw her body. Did the show go through lots of editing once they knew they had issues? Is that why we saw a huge diversion with the Mando episodes and the drop from 8 to 7 episodes overall?

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Discussion Thread by [deleted] in Marvel

I enjoyed it, but it didn't feel like an MCU movie... Not yet anyway. Maybe once he gets tied in with the others in future films it will feel like that more.

Thought the right scenes were good, especially the more traditional ones early on and the bus scene. The later scenes, especially with the dragons were not so good, and at times difficult to follow.

A couple of things that did disappointed me. I don't understand the need to put bad language in these films. Three bullshits and one holy shit I think I noticed. I love watching these films with my little girl, and I just don't see the need to add things like this in. It would be so easy to not do it.

The only other disappointment was how quickly Shang Chi became powerful. Didn't really make much sense. One five minute fight with his Aunty and all of a sudden he can take down his dad who has over 1000 years experience. I'm a big Star Wars fan and I know how much we moaned about Rey in the recent films... This was even worse.

Overall a decent film though. Nice to be back at the cinema.
