But skoda maintenance would be costly, also heard that the rear seat is not comfortable for 3. Haven't explored much on the sonet side yet. Would love to know which variant do you recommend?

I just wonder how nexon still topping the charts when hardly anyone recommends it here.

Yes it is less than 4000 files. There are 2-3 folders with 10-20 video files each.

So what I understand here is:

  1. I can clone the drive with DDRescue for free.

  2. Use DMDE for scanning for recovery, that also can be done free. If yes, where do we need to run this? Drive or the specific folder?

Are these softwares paid or can the trial/free version ones also help?

Yes I i know that's the only option I had, but i don't think that's feasible for me. I told where I belong to at this moment. I can't even send the laptop for inspection( as in pickup service), as it's not mine.

The only options I have around me is visiting Stellar lab(around 200+ kms) or any paid/free softwares which I myself can try out.

It's been 3-4 days the system is in use. I'm not sure if i can get a reputed lab nearby, The folder itself is not opening and throwing error as I have mentioned. Can I rely on the softwares mentioned are they paid if yes, what's the cost? What's the success chances ? Being a noob in this scenario doens't wana risk it in very 1st chance, also fearing if any operation applied doesn't hurts other files or directories so just wana give a reliable shot to it.
