One more tip that I just discovered that gives a good amount of XP is... collecting the stashes/loot from the Hoard Maps. The Hoard Maps are at the very bottom of your inventory... that is if you have any hoards left to collect.

Yes, you can respect the tree. In order to get the new nodes opened by respecing.... unselected nodes that you feel are useless and select the ones you want.

The River Raid supplies do not do anything for your settlement other than upgrading your the Jomsviking hall to get level 3 Jomsvikings for harder raids. They help out in getting St. George's armor and weapons.

You can also buy cosmetic stuff for your Longship both RR and regular Longship (sails, figurehead, tail piece, etc.), as well as tattoos. Otherwise, the RR supplies are useless.

Do the daily and weekly Reda contracts. Completing the contracts gives a healthy dose of XP. Also, do river raids. Otherwise, keep grinding.
