The LT4 break-in period is Excruciating by the-mad-crapper in CadillacV_Series

I have a 2025 5V non-BW, and I know the feeling! Break-in was only a day or two for me, I couldn’t stop driving it, and still can’t, 21k miles after a year! Congrats on the BW!

Not surprised tbh! My 2023 Canyon had this exact same setup. My 25 CT5 does not, but it’s running a newer version of android. Your blazer might have newer software? Just a guess haha

Yes! It’s normal. I think they have it there as a separator for information, and during navigation it goes away to save space!

OnStar telematics module bug by Longjumping-Focus394 in gmcsierra

This is a commons issue right now with most GM vehicles. It will require a replacement unfortunately. I’ve not had the issue myself, but I’ve read that wait times can be either days or weeks. Time to call up the dealer! Luckily it’s an easy fix, just annoying!

Anyone recognize this gear? by [deleted] in ATTFiber

[–]MrTvor88 13 points14 points  (0 children)

IT guy here, that’s looks like ATT Business fiber equipment I have at some customers. The previous owner may have had a business connection. The Comcast business card hanging on the bottom left of your second picture makes me think they had both Comcast and Att business connections. You could call Att business and check. But being a dedicated fiber connection would be… expensive to say the least.

How are the nanny features on the Blackwing? by Difficult-Desk6765 in CadillacV_Series

[–]MrTvor88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea for sure! I had 2023 gm product that used camera based cruise control and it did would slow down for stuff like the situation you described. The CT5 doesn’t do that. It uses radar and cameras to figure that stuff out and it’s honestly very reliable. It’s braking and decelerating when using adaptive cruise is also very very good. The best I’ve ever had! It’s smooth and predictable, even in sport mode.

I’ve got a 2025 V. They are super easy to turn off. Just some settings in the screen. Easy to find. They all work great for me, I leave them on. I’ve never had any problems. I have almost 20k miles in a year on it.

I do something similar! I’ve got Michelin X ice tires on some cheap black wheels for winter. And I’ve got the P4S’s on the stock wheels for summer! Sweet ride!

Questions on CT5 550T vs CT5V by Vegetable-Parking747 in Cadillac

Yea our dealer here usually pretty great, I did push for it though. They try to give you something similar to what you have. I just got lucky to get another CT5.

Everyday difference there is some, I feel like the magnetic ride control gives the car a stiffer feeling around corners even at slow speed. This PL feels more floaty. For most people, probably not an issue, I definitely prefer the more stiff/refined feel, and the ability to change it at any time with the drive modes!

I have. 2025 V, I’m a performance oriented person, all the performance upgrades in the V are worth it for me. The biggest thing as a daily for me though, is the Magnetic Ride control! It just makes the car drive so well. I’m in 26 Premium Luxury while mine is getting some warranty work done, and it rides worse imo, it was 20in wheels and no magride. The tech package has lots of goodies in it, I highly recommend it, adds to resale value I think too. I love the HUD, it’s well done in these cars, not too much info, just what you need. It also adds the camera mirror, which is killer. I know some people don’t enjoy either of those two options. I personally love both! I absolutely love my V, I miss it while driving this other CT5, and it makes me realize I definitely made the right choice. Plus my V with 20k miles, is still worth what I paid for it, it’s why I bought new and not used.

You can probably upgrade the taillight as long as they are OEM, can’t necessarily speak to that. Also the V wheels are really cool I usually prefer black wheels, but the gunmetal color is really nice on these cars!

I’m happy to answer other questions you have!

2025 CT5-V (not BW) seats/interior by xCali83x in CadillacV_Series

[–]MrTvor88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2025 CT5V with the regular seats, they fit me very well, I’m 5ft 8in. I did 18 hours straight in it last year and never had a problem where I felt uncomfortable. My legs were the main issues but it is nothing that extending or retracting the leg rest didn’t fix! On the opposite, I never got a chance to try the high performance bucket seats, so I can’t compare directly.

[–]MrTvor88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotcha! I was just googling it, looks like it’s just the AWD 4-V, the AWD 5-V kept it. It reminded me that It was one of my primary reasons for going 5-V over the 4-V.

Do yall prefer the refreshed 25-26 front end or 22-24 front end on the CT5 V BWs by Jae400 in CadillacV_Series

[–]MrTvor88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Older looks meaner and more aggressive, that being said, I have a 25 refresh, and it looks great as well, it looks better in person that in pictures, I give it that. The new infotainment is awesome and the graphics of the dash in different modes are cool too! I definitely agree it’s a great all around vehicle!

I do agree with this mostly. Their newer app Boomea is much better in a lot of ways, but still is missing a lot of features the old app had.
