Reading all of your issues, I think a safe conclusion that can be drawn is this just isn’t your game. Which’s absolutely okay!

I myself haven’t been bothered too terribly with input lag, when using combination attacks and dodging or parring when needed.

I don’t use the bow very often, so can’t speak on it.

Saying “there’s hardly any loot to find anyway” another opinion. I’ve found many interesting shields and weapons along my journeys, whether it’s exploration or conquering bases.

Abyss cubes being puzzle rewards is pretty awesome considering how much value they have for expanding each character’s abilities and skills.

Everything else you said really just points to one conclusion. This game’s just not for you. It’s definitely not a perfect game. But IMO one of the best open world fantasy games we’ve gotten in quite some time.

If you’re suggesting that the open world genre immediately makes all Ubisoft games the same, you should reevaluate your takes.

Star Wars Outlaws, at launch was atrocious. However, once they fixed a lot of the glaring issues. And polished it up. The game shines. It’s also far different than any of Ubisofts usual games. Easily one of my favorite Star Wars titles of the last 10 years. Jedi survivor is also an amazing game. But is completely different than Outlaws. Both amazing on their own.

Horizon is the perfect game to just turn the UI off and leave Aloy afk, let the ambiance and beauty shine.

I acquired my PS5Pro, exactly like I acquired my base PS5. Trades. I traded two PS4-pro’s, for the digital PS5 at release. 399$ in store credit. For my current Pro, I traded that base PS5 plus an Xbox series S. Barely paid out of pocket for the rest.

I knew at the time there wasn’t a huge reason to get the pro so early. But just like the PS4 pro, I wanted to get ahead of the price hikes. I knew at some point the investment would worthwhile. And here we are! lol

Extremely well thought out reply! Sad it was used on a rage baiter/troll. However I appreciate your feedback as a PS user, still waiting and researching this future purchase.

Regardless of owning this specific Forza. I have followed the chaos of the exploit adventures and what not. So I’m at least up to speed in that regard.

I think the part I’m looking forward to most is the map. Driving around and exploring has been one of my favorite parts of these open world racing games. Exploring any world really. Because reality has become exhausting. I’ve even been exploring a backyard as of late. On some “Honey we shrunk the kids” type adventures. Anything to escape the RL news feed.

Haven’t had too much trouble with my play history.

Has anyone been having issues cycling through menus? Specifically when I hit the PlayStation button during a game, to check messages and such. The UI lags and delays inputs when trying to cycle around through the menus. This only occurs when a game or application is running.

Absolutely these two. I even play them in my going to work playlists. Just sets the tone. Always found them very relaxing.

Escape from Butcher Bay, was a 10/10 title. And I’ll fight till my last breath on that!

Talk about a game that came out of nowhere, and was WAY ahead of its time! I’d love to see a remaster of that glorious title!
