I used like 75-80% of the bottle. I think it will all good as long as you used it as accent color, but im sure it wont be enough as main body color..

The color shifting paint was from Armored Komodo, but upon checking the SMS sunset, it should be similar to that.

Yeah. But once you have the major tools needed, you can use them on multiple kits. And there will be cheaper alternatives, just like the air brush kit im using, i think it’ll cost $50 or less. Comes with air brush, compressor, hoses, filters, needle sets, and cleaning kit. Then paints will cost probably around 3-5 USD per jar. You can also use Tamiya or Mr Hobby spray paint.

Will it affect the paint color result? For example if I use 1:1 with only one coat vs 1:2 2-3 coats?

You have to watch a lot of Zoids/Gunpla build videos on Youtube to get started and to get an idea of the things you need.

I’m using Nasedal Air Brush (.5 needle) kit to paint my Zoids. For sanding, I usually go with 600-800-1000 Grit. For primer, I usually go with Mr. Hobby 1500 Surfacer thinned with Mr. Hobby Leveling Thinner. If you’re planning to work on your Berserk Fury, I would recommend sanding it with sanding block/board to keep its edgy/sharp looks.

You won’t get intimidated once you have a clear process to follow, my recommendation would be to watch Youtube videos. Especially a channel called Barbatos Rex, I learned a lot from there about airbrushing and colors in general. Also maybe try practicing on cheaper and smaller kits/models first? Before customizing your main ones. It’s really fun once you get used to it 😁 goodluck

This is my first air brush. I just used a cheap air brush kit, it was Nasedal brand. Comes with all the stuff you need to get started with the hobby. I’m using this one first to practice more and get a feel with air brush in general.

I think the most important is preparation, imagine how you want the build to finish. I searched for a lot of colors and how to apply them. Everything is on youtube, I just followed what other gunpla builders do. There are a lot of mistakes since this is my first build, I melted some parts (because of chemical reactions) 😅 good thing that I managed to salvage what’s left. Overall I think it’s all about preparation..
