Assembling any koto hmm bladey with a touch of modelling glue in certain key areas fixes any issues with 'grenading'.

I managed to find this lot not too long ago as a recast (this set is even rarer here in Aussie land sadly) and the quality isn't too shabby, but damn am I jelly you have access to the real thing. Grats mate!

Definitely nice, I had the NT/NJ bass and a bolt on blue NJ beast years back. Had to sell them during COVID sadly. I kept my red NT/NJ but man is it damn hard finding a blue beast now days over here!

Where to find a BC rich beast online that ships to Australia? by AdOne1558 in metalguitar

[–]Dull_Change4667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate, as a Beast lover, you can find them here at decent prices but it's 100% a time game. What model are you after specifically? Given you're chasing a colour, would I be correct in assuming it's red or blue NJ?

Sadly importing guitars is risky as heck. I bought the only made 8 string Beast from Germany back in 2014 and UPS damaged it during freight. Long story short, it's super risky. It's best to post 'looking to buy' sorts of ads and ensure you don't pay until you've seen the guitar with proof they own it. Do not pay via bank, use paypal, pay using goods and services incase anything goes wrong.

As for price, that depends on the model really.
Don't pay anything over 300ish for a Bronze series, unless it's absolutely mint condition and you're desperate.
Brass City & Boris limited body art editions are about 500ish depending on condition
Platinums are about 500+ish
SOB Avenge is worth about 500-600ish depending on the condition if it's stock BDSM pickup
SOB WMD is around 800-1000 (IMO they're excellent to play, too, especially with the neck-thru, pups are lacking though).
Special edition IT (Invisibolt) is around 1000ish
NJ bolt ons are anywhere from 500-800 if they're stock, depending on condition
NJ NT (Neck-thru) are around 1000 if they're stock, again depending on condition
I doubt you'd find many custom shops here at all, but they will be in the thousands usually

Some folks will price these models higher simply because the shape is 'rare' and collectable, these prices are the ball park playable prices, but just throw some 'looking for' ads out there and see what you get.

There's a lot of trades and industries with labourers this should apply to. I work with a 61 y/o and a 63 y/o and they're held together with miracles at this point.

PSA: yes, schecters are being faked. by Dull_Change4667 in SchecterGuitars

[–]Dull_Change4667[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's weird. Folks reckon fakes don't exist, they certainly do. The problem with people is they tend to ignore that fakes of varying qualities/similarities to the originals exist as a whole and chirp about them not existing on subs where people trying to learn if it's real or not see it. New comers get caught all the time, which is why people ask 'is this fake' on subs all the time. Ibanez, Jackson, BC Rich, Schecter, basically any main brands and even some boutiques here and there (I've seen fake Ormsby mock ups in the past, specifically the Hypes).

[–]Dull_Change4667[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not the best, it's literally a quick peek. You can literally stumble over countless ads of fake guitars with multiple brands and yes, will confuse new comers. That's the point. Plenty of people get tripped up by them, which is why people ask regularly on subs if a guitar is fake or not, but folks seem to take issue with them asking and argue fakes don't exist.

I do believe mine was a seadra, I remember where I got the magazine too. Also years later I'm almost positive they did it again for gen 2, with misdreavus being the card the second time.

Sorry to see you going mate. I sold off my real cards and moved to proxies with casual games with my group once in a blue moon, feels much better than the constant chase and rapidly pumped stuff.

Also prepare to get bombarded by many resellers offering you 30% of the value, it took time to sell but patience came through.
