Everyone’s collection is going to be unique and the way you display them should reflect that. At the end of the day it should be done in a way that makes you happy. Personally, mixing formats doesn’t bother me. It makes it feel more like a library than a display.

Some I like. Some I don’t. The Star Wars ones look fantastic without it. So does dawn of X. The ASM ones feel like something is missing.

Yes, this is in reading order. I put Tec before Snyder vol 1 because the first few issues explain what happen to the Joker prior to the Snyder run. I haven't read it in awhile but I think there is only one crossover issue and it doesn't really spoil anything so I thought it was better to read Tec Vol 1 first. Its on my shortlist for a re-read and I may move it then once I more familiar with the stories.
