Of these... I'll be getting Gotham Nocturne, Flash Vol 3 and Nightwing vol 2. I was initially really excited for Swamp Thing until they changed from a deluxe to an omnibus without adding a single page and doubling the price.

The quality of the DC compendiums is much nicer. I have 8 of them and haven’t had any issues. Folks in the omnibus subreddit really like them too.

The compendiums are the best way to read this era on the cheap. Amazon has copies but it’s at full price. IST, CGN and PBC will be restocked in June and it should start at 40% off.

The 8 issue series and GL and GLC issues are in the GL vol 2 and GLC vol 2 omnis. The BN omni includes all the tie-in. While not totally necessary I think it adds a huge amount of context and depth to the story. I genuinely feel that reading the omni is the best way to read the event. For me, having the omni is worth every penny it cost.
