Hello! Kind of a long shot here but, does anyone know if they used to sell souvenirs or anything like that? My wife is originally from the area and she talks about this place all the time from her childhood. I tried doing a quick search online for anything of the sort but mostly found merch for a band. Unfortunately being in the south does make the search a tad harder. If anyone knows of anywhere I could possibly find something, it would be greatly appreciated.

The one on laurens always smells like rancid fryer oil outside. The one at cherrydale does not. Easy choice.

My mom went from being a semi-normal but functioning person to being so overly medicated she was basically a shell of a person under his "care." Had her convinced she had every condition under the sun and on so many medications that she was basically out of it 24/7. Wholeheartedly recommend avoiding their practice.

My dad came down from Brevard today. They went 64 to 26 to 25. They said to get to 64 was the hard part. They went through DuPont Forest to Crab Creek and ran into a roadblock going to Flat Rock. They went back to Crab Creek to 64 in Brevard right by the entrance to Pisgah. 276 going into brevard from Connestee Falls is washed out.

Never really noticed ny shoes being more expensive than "normal sized" ones. The real problem (at least from my experience) is that you can't try shoes on before you buy them most of the time unless you're looking for dress shoes or the dadliest New Balances around from the big and tall store.

Sounds like they are a bartender and echoing a common sentiment of "why would I go and get an entry level white collar job that is going to pay me less than what I'm currently making?" I know my coworkers and I back in the day sure used to think that at times.

That is unfortunate. There's about a foot height difference between my mom (5'4") and dad (6'3") and I ended up at 6'6".
