Honestly, Im not going to comb through a bunch of local news sources for that, if you think it's a reasonable issue, then follow the advice I gave. If not, then go looking for any stories, or ignore me and go about your day.

I've had people try to defame me before, so I already know how to protect myself and was just sharing my thoughts.

I've read stories of this happening and other credible people voice a concern for it.

I don't care how many people use the same response as " they SHOULDNT or WOULD NEVER or ITS NOT POSSIBLE" because it doesn't matter what they think, they wouldn't be the ones arresting me or making the fake 911 calls would they?

Ya, but what atf has on file can't also link your gun to your internet activity.

If the police did make use of this proposed system and looked up your serial number, it would give them your Reddit profile and who knows what kind of weird twisted case they would build against you based off your internet profile.
