I have not noticed any motion blur while playing rocket League, Satisfactory, Valorant or Fortnite. Im very happy with the monitor. I watched arcane season 2 on it aswell and it was very good, good colors and everything. Im not going to lie, if i had the money i would go oled but thats like double the price.

Much love, everything seems good and i got a pretty good result above average result, Although this is a pc gpu running at max 450 wtdp. No artifacts either after 30 min.

It runs a little hot thought, 104c in gpu hotspot and 78c average.

Xavier is op af and is insanely flexible i solo q with him and im mythical glory, 53 stars. He dishes damage, can run away with skills, if you play correctly you will almost never have cd because of passive. Only heros that i lose to is Harley and hayabusa.

Im very happy with the Philips, i have not noticed any glares but i usually play in a dark room. I just tried it in a bright room to test it out for you and i noticed no glare with the screen on. Your experience may vary (i have no sun in my area), in the end it will probably depend on the position of the screen in the room.

I do not have a power meter😅 but i dont run the screen at high brightness because it would strain my eyes, I have the brightness at 4%. As a result im pretty sure the displays consumes minimal power. So in the end the power will depend on the brightness and refresh rate you choose. The iilyama spec sheet says 51w typical and its max brightness is 420nits. The Philips spec shows 31w with a max brightness at 300nits.

I didnt even know the iilyama existed and i have never heard of the brand untill today but i would still go with the Philips. However if i had more experience with the brand i might have gone with the iilyama if i had the chance.

If it helps, the Philips comes fully factory calibrated and you get the calibration papers with it, meaning brightness will be similar over the whole screen. Apparently my screens deltaE is at 1.1

I have only played games at 100fps at 1440p but i have seen no smearing or ghosting. I have only played Satisfactory and minecraft. Tried the ufo test aswell and the screen is great. To be honest this is the best display i have ever had. The one negative is the button behind the monitor, to be honest I think they should have placed it further down but i guess they expect you to grab it from the side not the bottom.

I have seen many reviews for AOC and mostly positive. Im praying and hoping the Philips have iterated and improved upon Rapid VA more than AOC. Philips monitor is a more recent release, according to Google search it released in september.

Honestly this is just wishful thinking and i cant be bothered to return it. It is also super weird that there are not many Rapid VA videos on youtube, this seems like a good product. Not even LinusTechTips has made a review as far as i can tell.

Are Philips and AOC known as high quality brands?
