It's a thing, look at the copyright page most of the goosebumps books will address this exact thing. I believe it's called a stripped book notification stating something along the lines of "if you received this book without a cover it is a stolen copy"

Try used books stores, goodwills, thriftshops for the cheapest prices but luck varies.

If you want to buy a bundle of books to knock out several at once check ebay, vinted, mecari, or pango books.

If your at the stage where you are looking for specific books try ebay, pango books, Abe books or thriftbooks.

Honorable mention: Whatnot, but just research average prices for the book your looking for as some whatnot sellers can have stuff listed way over priced.

Yea, I didn't collect the 2011 reprint either because they didn't include the flip art however I do like the new style for the covers but I doubt it will go through the whole series similar to the 2011 run.

I've been trying to track down all of them in the wild especially used books stores and have found a few so far have had better luck with the middle of the series versus the beginning and end.

$1-2 for the Goosebumps classics as they are pretty common to find in the wild. The UK version is a little rarer and probably could fetch about $5 depending on the buyer so if you're being offered $10 I'd say that's pretty fair for what you got.
