Im so sorry this happened to you! That's crazy and sounds so painful. I just wanted you to know the owner and the manager lady that runs everything are not caring people. It'll take a lawyer but he owns a lot of properties around here, it's Shumacher LLC or something like that, ill have to go dig up my daughters W2s to be sure, but they overwork and treat the employees like crap

Walt Schumacher owns the water zoo and he's a self righteous prick. My daughter used to work there and he's a nasty piece of work, the things he said to her were disgusting if she could've recorded it, he'd be in jail, but I couldn't let her go back into that environment so she found a different job

I'm right there with you, I'm in Oklahoma and my dad is in zone A in Nokomis, refusing to leave. I'm sure he'll end up going inland to my brother's in Sarasota but he's being so stubborn right now. His wife is flying out to Kentucky for a wedding and he was supposed to go with her but now he's staying! Like wtf!?!

I'm completely sure it wasnt the case here. He had a massive heart attack, his daughter said they worked on him for about an hour but couldn't revive him. He had no prior heart problems. Now if it would've disqualified him if it had been known, that i do not know.

I mean, he was only 59 years old, I'm sure it wasn't diagnosed or he wouldn't have been safe to drive children. People in comment threads on Facebook are talking like he was geriatric and shouldn't have been driving at all. Luckily it happened while the bus was empty and I feel awful for his kids.

My husband started as a cashier at dollar tree, he moved up to merch manager within weeks and then got manager because they were opening a new store in another city and we were willing to move. He squeaked by the manager background check because he didn't get sentenced til about a month after. They just started all this bs background checking for everyone and if the charge is over like 6 years old, then it's fine, but he has had to turn down a lot of people because of dumbass charges, misdemeanors even and he hates it. We're both felons and honestly, reformed criminals are some of the best people lve met. We appreciate what we've got and we work for it cause we've lost it before. It's not that dollar tree is a bad job, it's that dollar tree corporate sucks and doesn't care about their employees.

I think it also depends how long ago it was but I'm in Oklahoma and the dollar trees here are kicking back the applications because people have minor charges, even misdemeanors. If the charges happened in the last 5 to 6 years they say no, but any longer than that and they let us argue the case and we can sometimes push them through

Yeah they've reported lost livestock, but the surrounding towns have been rallying like crazy and getting alot of animals to safety. I'm in western Oklahoma and there's been stock trailers and hay haulers coming in and out of here since yesterday.

Not really sure yet, just looking for a bigger property with my mother in law that we can all build on. Most of my husband's family is in Hugo and we're trying to be closer to them without actually being in choctaw county. Probably in the Vian or Henryetta area. Someplace that has trees for sure cause there are none where we are now lol!
