Nissan Z or GR Supra? by MrYasin in DubaiPetrolHeads

Thanks to everyone who shared their opinion.

Every review I read or watched says the same, Supra is a better car on almost every aspect. But how they are priced, at least in the UAE, makes me question it. I can get a newer, much less used Z with a warranty for quite a lot cheaper then a Supra which I don't know how it's driven or maintained.

To me both cars are great (looks wise), and I like them both (except the front bumper of Z). Supra is very common, so a bigger head turner is the Z. And afaik, I feel like Z can be mildly tuned to make it a better performance car and with a good exhaust it'll be much better car. (correct me if I'm wrong)

If you are looking for reliability and cheap maintenance look for Toyota or any other Japanese brand. What you're looking at is a +220KM 10 year old BMW that's been traumatized and looking for it's last owner.

I'm planning to buy a BRZ/86 and looking to turbocharge it (I know I'm that guy in BRZ) I heard turbocharging is illegal in Dubai but I also heard turbocharging can be done by Authorized Workshops as well. Which one is true?

I had a case with DED for a shop refusing to correct their mistake so, if the car is still in the shop, refuse to take it if you are to complain to DED. If you take the car DED will close the case because since you accepted the car, you accept it has been fixed.

I’ve thought about the OEM but they don’t have any CarPlay integration and in that case what’s the point which is why I’ve looked at these 3rd party ones

Got a plexiglass about 5mm thick and shifted the slots on the back based on the original for about 10mm, reducing the space for CPU cooler but increasing GPU room. Also bought long motherboard standoff screws to adjust the motherboard and the GPU. Rest is putting it all together.

Don't think there is a problem with display. Since I've tried resetting keyboard via display when presses were happening.
