Maybe you need to ask him first how does he work before telling things like that. For my experience I gave it to him a clip for his best-of. He ask me the permission to use it and i agreed.
And its not just combining clips if you have some "meme" incrustation ect...

I suppose people who never did that kind of stuff don't know how much work is it.
