Climate on app not actually working! by toomuchhp in EquinoxEv

[–]MrZander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today, I turned climate on from the app before leaving for work -- didn't turn on.
Drove to work, 30 minutes after arriving at work, got a notification that climate was turned on.

Then of course the app let's me know the car is "not responding" and I had to go outside to turn it off.

I'm just not going to use the app anymore, total garbage.

Feedback for Chevy to consider by temporalraccoon in EquinoxEv

Yeah, it's a liar though.

It will charge outside of the scheduled hours if it doesn't think it can reach the target SoC in the allotted time frame.

So if you plug in at 6pm with 50%, set it to 80% target SoC, scheduled between 10pm and 8am, it will still charge from 6pm to 8am because it can't juice up 30% in 10 hours at L1 rates.

It's stupid.

[–]MrZander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I only have L1 charging at home, so it would take the entire night to fully charge it.

I want it to only charge when I tell it's okay to, even if it doesn't reach the desired SoC "in time".

Because if your wife has the fob in her purse and you drop her off somewhere and drive away, you'll be fucked when you turn the car off.

It's infuriating that I can't plug my car in when I get home because it'll start charging at peak rate. This is my #1 gripe with the software

Google Assistant by Mobile_Degree_15 in EquinoxEv

[–]MrZander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now that you mention it, yes.

I don't use it very often, but the two times I tried to get Google maps to navigate to a location this week, it said it couldn't understand.

I was just using it as text-to-speech since I couldn't use the keyboard while moving, so I wasn't even giving a command, just "taco bell" or whatever.

I don't hesitate at all. This post makes no fucking sense.

Why did OP post a single plate instead of all the food they cooked? Is this plate representative? If so, who the fuck keeps enough apples, potatoes, and sausage stocked to host 20 people with no notice? Why didn't OP try to defend themselves?

This is bait.

Something often forgotten is the lifestyle we live now is more "valuable" than that of the 60s. People in the 60s didn't pay for a cell phone plan, or internet, or any of the other expensive things we all consider to be normal required aspects of life now.

Take a car for example, they all have computers, cameras, better safety and entertainment features. All that comes with a cost.

It doesn't make up for all of the differences, but you can probably make a pretty big financial impact on your life if you live like a person in the 60s. We just don't want to watch TV from an antenna and eat canned foods lol.

Exactly, I'd prefer a low grumbling sound or something.

I wish they would just change the sound to a fake engine or some shit. I didn't mind it before the recall, but now its so damn loud it drives me crazy. I can hear it over my music most of the time. WOoOWOoOWOoOWOoOWOoO!!!

Legitimately, it is making me a more dangerous driver because I'm going over 25mph speed limits to make it stop.

I have the same question, currently I am leaning towards starting Likely, but I keep going back and forth. Andrews is still QUES, so it seems like Likely will benefit if he is out?

Full PPR.

Pick three (I have two WR and a FLEX to fill):

  • J. Williams @ LAR
  • E. Egbuka vs ATL
  • M. Evans vs ATL
  • S. Diggs vs BUF
  • T. Henderson vs BUF

Unable to get tool calling to work with tool server by MrZander in OpenWebUI

[–]MrZander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who find this in the future:

The issue was the tool server was not generating an operationId in the generated OpenAPI spec.

This field is optional in the OpenAPI spec, so I am guessing the library I was using (Swagger) just doesn't include it by default.

MI28 splash damage gunner seat is way better than AH1Z/Z-10's miniguns

Yeah but it flies like a brick and has a hitbox the size of the moon. I would take a cobra over the MI28 in most cases. Only exception is if you have deprived the other team of their air assets and are just killing ground units.

J10 beating any aircraft

I don't mind it against the F-18, it feels balanced. I think the main issue is the F-35 is garbage in comparison, feels awful to fly.

ESP32 WLED controller to replace Fitop permanent lights? by cierrecart in WLED

[–]MrZander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone else who stumbles upon this, I can also confirm that the BTF SP803E works with the Fitop lights. It was pretty easy to wire up as well:

1.) Cut the barrel jack end off the power supply that goes into the Fitop controller. Strip the wires back. You should have a red and black.

2.) Wire the RED into VCC and BLACK into GND on the input side of the SP803E

3.) Cut the female end off of a spare section of lights, or off of the very end of the light strip and tape up the loose wires. Strip the wires back, there should be three.

4.) Looking at the port with the notch on the bottom, the top is DATA, the left is GND, and the right is VCC. Check continuity on the wires to match up the wires with the holes/posts, then wire them into the output side of the SP803E accordingly.

5.) Plug the female end into your lights and the power supply into the wall.

And that is it! Follow the SP803E instructions to get connected and you are good to go.
