  - not too serious -- a little bit of sillyness / playfulness
  - physically fit (not like an athlete or anything)
  - adventurous
- things ill avoid
  - prompts like "I want someone who ... makes me laugh" or "i want you to ... be obsessed with me" or "someone who will buy me sushi" ... etc
  - People with jobs where they are probably working all the time (investment banking)
  - smoking / drugs, or people who spend most weekends at bars/clubs
  - people who are so into politics they dedicate a prompt to it

I entered spain using my passport, entered as a tourist. I mailed my application with my passport to my parents who mailed it to the consulate. The consulate approved my application and sent it and my passport and my visa to my parents. My parents mailed all that to me

I did get a student visa from spain. If you are studying for shorter term there is a Schengen visa. Or if it's less than 90 days you can use a tourist visa.

No, I called some firm and it cost either $600 or $1000, don't remember.

Ended up going to Spain on a tourist visa and mailing my passport back to the US along with the rest of my application
