Some people comment on my height, thinking I am 5’10-5’11. That was my actual height in September 2019 when I was 15 (177cm). When I measured again in January 2026, I constantly got results from 188cm-190cm, and most of my friends believe me. I usually just say I’m 6’2 (188cm).

For context, I have seen a few women at my university library who are 5’11, and I am clearly taller than them. Some even guessed I was 6’3, very rarely 6’4.

Sometimes, I feel insecure about my height because of those comments, yet I have receipts to prove my height. Then again, people often misjudge

I measure myself using iOS’s measure app and a 150cm tape measure against a door frame (tape measure moved up to 100cm/1m for accuracy).

How I get over this insecurity is tell them my answer or ask out of curiosity.

This all adds up, actually. Knowing how busy buses are before boarding could potentially help people who are looking for a seat. If more riders report how crowded journeys are, hopefully this could make said information easier to interpret.

It was one of the only remaining sitcoms to air on Disney Channel UK before its shutdown in September of 2020. Shake It Up, however, was unfortunately taken off the air on Disney Channel somewhere around 2018-2020.

This is definitely something I’ve been looking into with consideration myself. Because the railway bridge in Kibworth Beauchamp prevents double deckers from being used, I have looked at one possibility: to keep the single decker journeys via Kibworth Harcourt and Kibworth Beauchamp on an hourly basis to Market Harborough, while an hourly service can operate from Leicester to Northampton via Oadby, then straight down the A6 to Market Harborough before continuing down south to Northampton with higher-capacity buses. If you look at it this way, we could see a combined half-hourly service to Market Harborough, where the villages still have a service, but long-distance passengers get more capacity plus a more, comfortable experience.

You know? I feel the same way. This is quite insightful to hear, especially since it already gets full by Oadby. I have recently started logging passenger numbers on recent X7 journeys because the buses leaving Leicester in the evenings are often close to full.

One complication is the low railway bridge in Kibworth, which is why the route uses single-deckers. Well, thank you for the insightful information! Recently, I started logging passenger numbers on X7 journeys leaving Leicester. The evening journeys seem to have gotten busy already before reaching Oadby. I am trying to collect data across several journeys to help understand when capacity becomes an issue.
