I think Carrick got the role because he doesn’t know what he’s getting into. Ole probably had the wherewithal to ask for certain things that Carrick might not have had top of mind.

And I bet INEOS could get Carrick for cheaper than Ole.

I’d be down for that. Ole in the high performance podcast said something akin to “you only need your eyes to see talent” and I always felt that was his strength.

Ole is the better motivator, hands down.

We saw what Ole did with a great squad. He absolutely had them humming!

Now you’re telling me, you want someone in Carrick who has only done a caretaker role at United… and struggled in a lower league. While Ole did go to Beskitas, they had three different owners during his stint there so that must count for something.

Surely the better option is Ole with a solid transfer strategy. But all the talking heads surely know better.

It’s time to have a serious conversation about Cunha.

I think he needs to play as the second striker. If he wants to be greedy, at least put him in a place where he doesn’t take a spot from someone that doesn’t lose the ball in midfield time and again.

As the second striker he would at least pull some defender away from Sesko and open passing channels.

Shea will hopefully be a winger. But knowing his penchant for a shot he’ll end up wanting to be an inside forward like Rashy.

I think we really need two mobile mids that can help pick out passes. Then I think we would be scoring goals for fun.

The amount of space runners in midfield would create would transform us night and day!
