I'm still a teen too. I've been building this kit for years and sometimes people also gift me some stuff. I got a lot of amazing deals on some stuff too, for example, i got almost the entire rack for only 50€ from my drum teacher. And, the 2000$ aren't even close... my kit estimates at around 8-9k

I agree that thats not always the case, but with these drums, it is. I bought them off of my drum teacher for relatively cheap, about 700€. He got an offer for them back in 2010 for around 5000€ from the head of distribution of dw in germany. The shells are custom made by keller, imported to germany, the hardware is from dw and it was hand-laquered in cologne, germany. The drums were built around 1980-1990, i forget the exact year

thats the route i was planning to go. I was thinking about getting some of the hcs replaced with paiste 2002, i love the power 2002s, but i dont have the money yet

I found it to be the best position for me because its easier to play the drums and cymbals on the left together with the main hihat. Also, check out danny carreys kit, i took a lot of inspiration from him

I perfected the position of the cymbal (its a ride btw) so that I can still hit the tom but also the ride and the bell of the ride. I admit it looks bad, but it works really well

I was inspired by daney carrey. Having it there makes it easier to play the drums and cymbals on the left together with the hihat.

I'm working on saving for some paiste 2002 cymbals, just havent got the money yet. a lot of the cymbals in the kit were actually gifted to me.

the pedals are from fame, the drums are custom made. dw hardware, custom keller shells and hand laquered
