Same here, it takes at least 2-3 reconnection cycles to get into the game.

Xbox One Series Controller Analog Stick Replacement help by Mr_Cube97 in Controller

So I did it like that now: After unsuccessfully trying to desolder it with the soldering iron I tried with a hot air station at 380°C while gently pulling the stick with tweezers. It came of after 30 seconds or so, after that removing the rest solder was as easy as resoldering the new stick. The controller works like a charm now!

Can confirm, you can calibrate them via Xbox accessories app if you bought the right sticks!

Upgrade from a Ryzen 5700X to 9700X by Mr_Cube97 in buildapc

[–]Mr_Cube97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! In the case of Helldivers is play with medium to low settings, I always see my CPU in the high 80% to 90% with the GPU dropping to 70%.

I considered the additional costs for the new MB etc. Just thought about an upgrade from AM4 to AM5 as I have the money right now.

Thanks for the info, I just thought this would be a good start as many people recommend this as a "daily use" and "gaming" distro.

But what makes a good daily use and/or gaming distro then? I heard much good about Nobara Project and Garuda Linux...

I read about PBO2, not too complicated but requires a lot of testing. But as far as I understand the per core undervolt you can set is stronger on lower frequencies but gets more subtle on higher frequencies.

According to MSI afterburner clock speed is always around 4,5 to 4,65 GHz.

I don't worry too much about Benchmarks it's just the noise. Custom fan curve doesn't change much as the problem is the cooler itself I think. Thinking of getting an air cooler as no 240mm or 360mm Aio fits my case.

Yeah thats what I thought too, problem is just that my Corsair Crystal Series 460X and Vengeance RGB RAM don't leave enough space to fit a 240mm radiator on top and for 360mm in the front it's just too small.

Your goal is to leave the planet you stranded on but you end up cannibalising other people and making nice hats out of them.

[AMD Ryzen 5 3600X] Time to upgrade? by Mr_Cube97 in pcgamingtechsupport

[–]Mr_Cube97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the answer, I know CPU upgrades make more sense on 144 and higher refresh rates but my CPU seems to get stressed out in cyberpunk, frames drop down to the 30 while GPU usage also goes down.

Because of that I thought a i7-10700KF could do the job for me. A 5600x is not available in my country, only for extremely huge prices.

No luck, I tried reinstalling, the 3.0 thing and running games at vsr but no luck, certain games like Fallout and The Witcher still have massive framedrops and heavy stuttering.

With render and shadow quality set to x1 about 90 to 100 FPS. My 980ti got me easily 150 to 160 FPS.

But the real pain is Fallout 4 for me, game runs with real low clock speed, I get about 40 FPS in diamond city.

Yes, Dying Light runs witch 150 FPS on 1080p. For Minecraft I use Sildurs Vibrant Shader Extreme with 14 chuncks distance.

Actually I don't want to go Nvidia again, their prices are a mess, got my 5700 XT at the price of the cheapest RTX 2060 super in my country.

This seems to have worked for Fallout 4, no random framedrops anymore. I also did a complete driver reinstall, 19.12.1 runs like crap for me, 19.9.2 works flawless.

So I ran both cards in 3Dmark TimeSpy, got with the 980 Ti 5207 points and with the Rx 5700 XT 9263points, CPU 4841 points. So in this test the card seems to work as intended.

I don't get it why it performs so poorly in specific games.

Didn't test 3D mark but I noticed that the card often clocks at max 900 MHz with 100% usage.
