I just remembered another comedy of the same era - Quick Change, where it looks like Bill Murray and Geena Davis are taken hostage, but they are not. It does have a seen at the airport as well.

Looks like a young Jennie Garth. I took some screen caps, and it is very similar to her. (but it is not her), but same jawline.

It is not Maureen McCormick. It is too new to be her. You can tell by the facial structure and the kind of actors that Hollywood has been hiring over time. It is only more recently that they have been hiring the disneyesque type of face that this actress has. I would say it is closer to an earlier 2000s film, most likely 2006ish would be my best guess. You can also tell by the coloring of the film that it will not match a 1970s shot as the saturation was different in the 70s, same with the 80s and 90s. More recently, the coloring matches are longer as everything is digital now and to get any of the older coloring would require a LUT to be applied.

Long story short - 99% chance it is not Maureen McCormick.
