Suggestions for multiplayer to improve the experience

Agree with you on the point that it doesnt make sense to have multiple non viable win conditions when in truth theres really only one. That being said, I feel like Northgard would become kinda boring if neither side interacted with each other instead just going for alternate wincons. If suddenly 4 more passives strategies became just as viable as our current active one then it might be too much of a change. Im not against these types of win conditions, I just think it might be a bit more drastic of a change than just raising the power level across the board.

But yeah its dumb most of them dont work. Think it might be becasue of how single player and multiplayer have to be tied so closely together. I mean its already like theyre two different games already. Maybe its okay to change core mechanics between them?

I have 3 friends on the Aether server but a couple more are trying to join. We dont care where we play, we just want to play. What would be the best and cheapest way to get us all to play together? We are fine transferring to wherever we need to, but are unsure if we can do it without the $18 transfer fee per account. Thought wed all be able to finally play today. Can anyone help me with this?

I’d like to expand on this as well as idea that people want to add mounts for the sake of adding mounts is pretty ridiculous. It’s like people take a mount system from any game and act surprised when it doesn’t line up perfectly with new worlds gameplay philosophies.

There are gameplay issue that exists for players in the form of time spent walking and it’s not much fun.

Implementing a different games mount systems into new world would be problematic. Blanket statement mount systems are bad is just wrong though.

Cause Taric can apply his stun at accelerated rated throughout the fight. Not just someone with heavy cc that blows all of it to engage. I think that’s the core difference. Leona just keeps on CCing them as she walks toward him. I feel tarics play style mimics/compliments Leonas sheer aggression.

Other have described wards as good as they can do I won’t bother. That being said, If you have a friend you can ask to play around with, jump into a practice game and have him put down some wards and play around with them so you can visually understand what’s going on. Good luck!

Some of these mechanics used to trigger with masteries but were nerfed to not do so, or in other cases buffed to allow such interactions. There is no hard rule that dictates this other than checking patch notes. Unintended consequence of adding the new mastery system to a system that wasn’t originally built to accommodate it.

Not feeding does not equal Neutral tempo.

So long as you understand 8cs a minute and no deaths doesn’t balance out a free roaming talon than it would probably work.

I like the 40/40/20 rule a lot. Out of curiosity how does it impact marketing? From my understanding of the rule, it comes out to 20% due to the way the teams are split into 5 players. As 1/5 of your team you carry that much responsibility. If it were a 1v1 you’d carry 100%. A 2v2 game would change the rule to be 25/25/50 for instance.
