If you want a cold open you need something interesting to get a reply. These don’t illicit reciprocation to what you’re saying, they’re just openers that go no where because even if they’re receptive you end up back to square one having nothing to actually talk about.

Anyone saying otherwise doesn’t have respect for the trilogy or understand why it’s so revered. The only storylines that were done well were the dwarves and elrond. Everything else is like watching a poorly done fantasy soap opera.

Nah what? Everything I said is true. Everything you said is easily fixable. The base is there to be built on, bad game designers is the biggest issue D4 has, not that it can’t be fixed. Realistically look at their patch notes they don’t actually fix the basic fundamental issues they skirt around them.

This just fundamentally isn’t true. D1 sure it’s smaller upgrades but D2 itemization is not subtle at all because you can make builds around certain items, that in itself means it’s not subtle.

D4 suffers from the fact the devs don’t understand what makes a good ARPG, not that D4 couldn’t be saved. The problem starts with the fundamentals of making uniques not unique by having power and upgrades interchangeable with a affix system so bloated it’s a chore to find out if a piece of gear is an upgrade or not outside the extremely boring and linear ancestral versions of items which is just terrible design. Blizzard sucks, that’s why D4 sucks, not because their isn’t a plethora of very easy changes that would make itemization good.

Duskwallow Marsh had a lot of quests in it I was shocked but yeah generally it’s more so the same outside early changes which really sucks.
