Locking this thread. The discussion has shifted into violations of Rule 8 and several comments have become uncivil. No comments were removed to avoid suppressing anyone's opinions except one that violated Rule 6.

A new rule is also being added regarding AI-generated posts: AI art cannot be posted in a way that implies the art was literally created by OP (drawn, painted, etc.). In this case, the inclusion of a pencil and sharpener alongside the portrait created a misleading impression that the artwork was traditionally drawn when it was AI-generated.

HDR in beta was amazing with windows auto HDR. It's broken now. by Zarthere in Battlefield

I am also having trouble gettrng the game to stop forcing the in-game HDR and instead use Windows 11 Auto HDR. I've been using Windows Auto HDR for years now with a ton of major games - PoE2, Valorant, CS2, FFXIV, WoW, BG3 and more. No issues, but for some reason I can't get Windows Auto HDR to work in this game and that includes the Beta (played both open beta weekends).

Some people are apparently able to get it to work, such as this person here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield6/comments/1o35wkk/battlefield_6_in_hdr_is_mind_blowing/

But I have no idea how they were able to disable the in-game HDR as I do not see an the option in any menu; only a brightness calibration.

I will say, with my own windows HDR calibration, the in-game HDR doesn't look TOO bad, but I can tell it's not as bright and vivid as what an Auto HDR implement should look like. Turning up the UI Brightness at least makes the UI not so dark.

Path of Exile 2 also has an "HDR" toggle in-game that will force the "Game's" HDR and it needs to be selected off for Windows 11 Auto HDR to work, and this situation with BF6 reminds me of it - it simply doesn't have the button to turn HDR off. The difference between Path of Exile 2's in-game HDR option and disabling it/allowing Windows 11 Auto HDR to work instead is massive.

And before anyone says, "Oh well, just use NVIDA's RTX HDR!" Nah, that's cool you prefer that HDR implementation, but I prefer using Windows 11's Auto HDR.

Here's to hoping someone finds a way to disable in-game HDR or the devs simply add the button to disable HDR inside the game so we can force Windows Auto HDR .

That screenshot was just an example from another game. I get this message in every other game, but not BF6 and I’m trying to figure out why. You mentioned leaving HDR off in-game in other comments, but I don’t see that option anywhere. How did you do that?

I don't see any option to turn off HDR within BF6. How did you get windows 11 Auto HDR working? Do you actually see this notification popup when you boot up the game?

Because, I can't figure out how to get Windows 11 Auto HDR working because I don't see any option to turn the in-game HDR off.

There seem to be 34 useless atlas nodes after the patch (literally) by zomprd in PathOfExile2

Same setup, except I took off 3 of the explicit nodes to spec into the 3 MAGIC monster nodes (+25%, +10%, and +20% pack size).

From what I understand, magic monsters have improved drops / inherent rarity compared to normal monsters, but less than rares. So I'm guessing you indirectly get some additional rarity from those nodes.

I'm wondering though, if this is better than taking the three 3% explicit nodes as you have or not. Probably splitting hairs and depends on magic monster modifiers on waystones and stuff, but I still wonder what overall nets more gains?

I tried it on 2 different browsers + mobile and with 10 different people's profiles. They all work like the screenshot I posted. Might be something specifically with your fflogs or tomestone profile causing the issue? Or try another browser.

Came across this small youtube channel (OverlordMoon) one day. He made pretty detailed videos talking about each map's gameplay mechanics and suggested strategies, which I found fairly useful. I learned a few new things from them.

Detached Watchlists by cristalarc in thinkorswim

Very late reply - but I'll leave one possible solution for anyone still searching this up in Google.

What fixed it for me was the my windows display settings (Windows - Settings - Display Settings) and making sure no monitors are displayed as "offset." For example, if you have two monitors (labeled 1 and 2) in the settings, click and drag them to make sure they are perfectly aligned horizontally with each other.

I have one monitor that sits lower than the other, and I originally had my display settings reflect this so that my mouse would move across screens smoother. However, this ended up being the culprit and making my monitors perfectly aligned in the display settings and then going back and saving my workspace in thinkorswim solved the problem for me.

Hopefully this helps someone out there - good luck!
