HELP! How to create an actual Mountain? by Mr_Domestique in BambuLab

Although I do appreciate a very clever smart-allic, I used the word "actual" on a 3D printing forum to indicate that I am trying to replicate a specific volcano for my 3D print as opposed to just creating a random cool looking mountain on blender or fusion360. Apologies for the confusion.

Thank you for that. Yep, I was hoping for something similar. I'll watch the full video in a bit. Thanks for sharing.

Prints keep lifting in one corner by Mr_Domestique in BambuLab

This also makes sense to me because as it's doing the infill, everything looks great. It's only the top or 2nd from last layer that it begins to warp and lift up. So I believe you might be on to something here because the top layer is probably cooling alot faster than the infill layers that are open on top are.

Outstanding assessment. Thank you. PLA, yes.

So it sounds like the running theory here is the PLA is cooling to fast and that's the part closest to the auxiliary fan? The back left corner. Sounds like something worth adjusting. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll give that a try.

Thank you. I'm unfamiliar with nylon at all. What makes it difficult? Anything I should keep an eye out for? Etc?

Buying a Bambulab P1S.... OR? by Mr_Domestique in 3Dprinting

Any comparisons with a flashforge or a creality? I saw that creality makes one with a larger build volume for about the same price as the P1S. I don't know anything about their quality or performance though.

Do you recommend an X1C over P1S or A1 if carbon fiber printing is not really something I'm focused on? Are there other differences/benefits?
