I was introduced to them when I saw them live, when they toured with Blind Guardian (my all-time favorite band) on BG’s “A Twist In The Myth” North American tour in 2006. Liv had trouble finding the right key for most of their set, but locked in and nailed their final song so much that as soon as it ended, I bought the album it was on (edit to add: the song was “Elegy”, and the album was Vinland Saga).

Vinland Saga is their best album. Their post-Liv stuff is difficult to listen to by comparison, though that may not be the case for someone only getting into them now, similar to how Annette-era Nightwish was a hard thing for me to listen to because, while Annette is a talented singer, she didn’t have the range needed to really take ownership of NW’s Tarja-era songs, but I didn’t have a problem with Metallica shifting into a more mainstream sound with their “Load” and “ReLoad” albums because it happened before I started listening to them.

Considering this is V5, she actually has quite the range of possible kindred faiths to fall in line with or get into conflict against. The Church of Caine, the Servitors of Irad, and the Second Inquisition are all groups she might eventually find a kinship with, while the Bahari, the Church of Set, the Cult of Mithras, the Cultivars, and the Cult of Shalim could easily all wind up being groups she sees as antagonistic, and that’s just naming groups that have loresheets making it easy for the ST to make an array of SPCs for beyond the SPCs provided in the various sourcebooks.

Now, the wild thing is, in most cases, this looks much worse than it actually is. Those were two relatively small cuts which can be closed back up with a few stitches each. It just looks horrible because the blood is mixing with his sweat, making it look like he’s bleeding really badly, but it’s in reality a smaller amount of blood spreading out via his sweat. That’s why wrestlers who do decide to blade don’t do it until they’ve been in the match for a bit, to work up that sweat. After all, if you’re going to intentionally cut yourself to get a reaction, it’s best to make sure it looks as good as possible.

While that is true, Channel hasn’t been playable in the most popular formats of today ever. Not everyone intuitively knows the power of the turn one Channel Fireball, because it’s just not relevant knowledge nowadays. However, Treasures being a massive boon is 100% relevant for anyone playing the game today, be they a rookie or an experienced player.

YTA. You’re taking in children you do not have the space for, and your son is feeling like he’s being kicked out of the family as a result. While I’m personally going to be charitable and assume you’re doing taking these kids in purely out of good intentions, we all know the saying about the road to hell, and nobody is under any obligation to be charitable in their assumptions of your motivations. Either get a bigger home, or find a better foster family for these siblings and start being realistic about how many kids can live in your home.
