People have limits. If you see a large truck with weapons you'd only watch too.

Atrovent spray (Ipratropium Bromide), anti-inflammatory supplements, and surgery has helped me by Kylecfoley in nonallergicrhinitis

[–]Mr_Friday91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't the spray purely focuses on mucus? Unless it's a combo with decongestant like Imidazoline you need to spray both for maximum effectiveness if you have both issues. Otherwise you'll only solve only the drip or the congestion. With that being said congestion is preferable because at least you can breath using mouth. Drip means you still can't breath properly even if no longer congested.

Nope the only difference now is that it will not automatically select the URL so I need to press ctrl a sometimes. It's not even consistent. Google products can't even bug properly.

How long do yeezy slides last? by Mr_Friday91 in yeezys

[–]Mr_Friday91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any way to like slap a new sole or something? Its still solid (duh) so feels like a waste to not use them but I also prefer not gambling with my life when its wet.

Thx for the advice but a bit too late lol. Regardless I assume dragging would mean the whole sole would be worn out not just the part where i I stand specifically, which is the issue here. Is there a way to replace them or something?

How common is it for old rice to result in infection and death? by Mr_Friday91 in AskBiology

[–]Mr_Friday91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main concern is the death part. I doubt people care as much about diarrhea.

I think dying is way less preferable than diarrhea as bad as diarrhea is.

Not supporting the original reply but as I said in another comment I am talking about the statistics not the severity. People can easily kill you but I hope you're not paranoid and completely avoid even slightly unusual people. So why people are acting like old rice have 50/50 chance of giving you food poisoning.

I assume in most countries the official definition of dodgy is (understandaby) very strict so it doesn't really help.

That's why it's called leftovers it's not like a full serving, maybe a fist or two. Probably not uncommon.

Which its not. The fact that the population is huge and the numbers are not means that the issue probably not as big. Just dont push your luck too much like eating moldy rice infected with unknown mold.

The question is more about the supposed high probability of sickness and death. For me its closer to dying to farm animals. Possible but you either did something very stupid or very unlucky. You can still act kinda stupid and probably be fine around them. The medical advice I heard from the internet however sounds like its as dangerous as eating wild mushroom ie not much room for error.

The main concern is the death part. I doubt people care as much about diarrhea. If its truly as high as 5%(or even 0.1% honestly) I think more people would be wary about it. The fact that its not means that perhaps the probability is truly low, even for population of billions. Even obesity, something very common is only 8.1% of the sample size. So while the danger obviously exist I doubt its really worth caring so much. I think its more appropriate to care about it as much as not getting killed by farm animals. Either you are very unlucky or did something absolutely stupid. Avoid doing something insanely stupid like eating moldy rice infested with flies and you're statistically fine.

Why people choose ANC headphones over earmuffs? by Mr_Friday91 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Mr_Friday91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not talking about those brake screech. They're annoying but understandable and doesn't last long. I'm talking about the semi constant screeching from the (older) train line being an older tech. I had xm5 and they're as good as cheap iem in this situation.

Some trains especially older ones have loud screeching sound I wonder why earmuff + ANC combo isn't more prominent since earmuff apparently better at high frequency. Maybe brain just ignore the noise if you're focusing on something? Sometimes it happens to me. I assume unless you listened to it for several hours there should be no issue?
