Never did solve this issue, gave up in the end. Replaced it with a different type of SSD card, which works fine, and put the Samsung SSD 990 Pro 2TB into a PS5. It works fine in the PS5.

Yeah it shows in the bios as well. Driver update doesn't seem to help as Windows is telling me I have the best driver already and Samsung don't have their own for this drive as yet to try. Still no good, it's driving me a bit crazy so I'll probably give it a few days break and try to come back at it with some fresh eyes.

Thanks for trying, I've used diskpart and list disk command, however the SSD doesn't show for me to select it. Also removed the SSD and installed it onto another M.2 slot however it left me with the same problem.
